Aside from your mind, what do you lose the most?

Pens. It doesn't seem to matter how many I buy and leave on my desk. I can never find one when I need one.

The Second-Hottest Man in my Mother's Basement
A lot of the time I'll leave my car keys and money on my coffee table, since I usually walk to work. When I come home for lunch the keys, money, and my girlfriend are all gone.

I have no idea where they go, either. I need, like, a safe or something. Or a wallet.

It's mental, don't just dismiss the problem and accept it as normal ...

Honestly guys, don't dismiss "losing things" as a "normal" and accept it that way.
It's very, very, very important you take proper tracking of your daily activities very seriously as you get older.

It keeps the mind sharp to train it "to care" about such small details.
If you just ignore such you will quickly program your mind not to care and you will only get worse.

It starts when you're a kid and you forget your jacket.
It goes beyond simple mindedness, it goes to how you address many things in your life.

Make a concerted effort to track what you do, where you put things, etc...
If anything, pick a few "safe spots" around your house, or in any location you frequent, and force yourself to use them.

Sooner than later you'll start noticing what you do and where things go.
Trust me, I had to fight this and I realized in my mid-20s that I really need to change direction.

I'm very glad I did.

* Once . . twice . . thrice  I found items of value in the circular file, it was at that point I learned that it's better to keep them away from the edge of tables, desks, countertops etc. "Stuff" ends up on the ground that would have otherwise ended up in the can.

Try it ! :D
