Ashlee Simpson Audio Malfunction
Did anyone happen to catch Saturday Night Live last night? Apparently, Ashlee Simpson was getting ready to perform her 2nd song of the night towards the end of the show, and the music (along with her voice) from the FIRST song started playing! They stopped the song, and Ashlee just danced around for a couple of seconds before finally walking off the stage. She gave a lame-ass apology at the end of the show, but from what I saw on the Fox News Channel, it was pretty damn funny!

I don't watch the programme very often but I was under the impression that the musical performances were real. Is that not the case?
I do recall having had the (mis) fortune of seeing Justin Timberlake perform on SNL some time ago.... and was profoundly disturbed by how weak his vocals were. Not that I expect much from him, in fact that's what shocked me. Despite my very low opinion of his voice his performance was so poor it still manage to take me by surprise .

ok, her band started "playing" the wrong song. but who was singing the song? wasnt her!!!

I knew someone else was going to post this.
She was lip singing, her band didn't start to play the wrong song. I like how she tried to blame it on them in the closing. The same song she did in her first set played and they didn't know what to do.
Why would they start to play the same song again???
Someone back stage messed up and replayed the track. Very embarrassing for her and even her ******.

Um...yeah they do. Actually, I take guitar lessons and my teacher was telling me about it. The drummer presses a button on a machine (cant think of what its called) and that starts a song. Sometimes the wrong song starts or sometimes certain prerecorded things (like something simple, such as a few trumpets playing a few notes) will come in late or early. My teacher used to be in a band and said this happens every once in a while.
Of course it still does show how Simpson has no musical ability and can't sing on her own.
