I'm proud to be a member of the European generation 1900 - 2013 that hates 'Merica with a vengeance.

Generation X. For the most part, but we certainly aren't the greatest....that would go to the generation that served in WW2. I'll say this, we're a lot better then some of the disrespectful people coming up now.

Why did you place quotation marks around the word generation? Are you implying that generations are ironic?

The generation(s) before mine are responsible for the state the world's in, the generation following mine is comprised of self-absorbed, technology obsessed punks. My generation isn't that great, but at least we're not as bad as the others.

If you're 23, then the generation following yours is Generation Z (2000-2013), I doubt many 13 year olds

Since when have pre-teens been technology obsessed? That's assuming you're really 23? Haha.

My generation would be the atheist neoliberals (generation Y).

I'm assuming this is your bourgeois attempt at sarcasm over the internet.

Good point and, my bad. I should have italicized it instead.

Be careful not to use quotation marks in an attempt to emphasize a word (the kind of thing you see in grocery store windows—Big "Sale" Today!). Underline or italicize that word instead. (The quotation marks will suggest to some people that you are using that word in a special or peculiar way and that you really mean something else—or that your sale is entirely bogus.)

Proud? I don't know that I'd use the term proud...maybe I'd say that I feel kinship with other Gen Xers.

I will say that I feel some level of antipathy towards the baby boomers. I think they were handed the keys to a Cadillac, and they squandered it, and will bequeath to future generations a banged up old Toyota Celica.
