Are you happy? You should be.

Can you specify on what your job is?

anything related to lan/wlan networks as well as to/ip/vo/ip telephony solutions and their sales, customer relationship management is also part of my duty. I was given a phonecall by a head hunter today about a very interesting job position which may end to a new job for me, so things might go in the right direction for me

To clarify:

At the moment; I have no job, no car, and barely any money. Am I happy? Fuck,no.

I still have my health (for the most part), a semi-warm place to sleep, family, friends, and Internet. Am I thankful for what I have?
Hell; yes.

So; I should be thankful for what I do have - and I am - but if I was happy with it, I wouldn't be motivated to change it for the better.

No; I "shouldn't" be happy.

Thankful, yes.

Happy,no.

That sound great! I worked for an ISP for some years, customer services plus as a spokesperson for handicapped workers, that was a nice job, too.

I did specify in handling reuests by english-spoken customers, as most colleagues did not dare take those cases, as they feared messing up and their jobs being in danger. So I could help a lot of the american soldiers in Germany. for instance.

I think that any experience in the IT field gives you a much sharper supplier-business-partner-customer approach as opposed to many other fields and also makes you way much more demanding towards you business partners when dealing with customers. You can't authorize nor allow a sales exec to screw up a relationship with a large or a global account. It also strenghtened my appetite for making the biggest turnover and to be an overachiever as well when it comes to customer satsisfaction rate as well as over the long run customer and hierarchy constructive relationship management. That counts for me when I choose a new job, the ability to push the boundaries far and be constantly an overachiever.

Now regarding myself, I am enough severe and demanding towards myself maybe too much according to others. I am happy when what I do is synonym of usefulness and success as well as when I can make other people happy. However, one of my constant character traits is that I always want more than I have but I can thank the god to be born under a lucky s t a r and a lucky zodiacal sign as well as never to have known health issues or financial problems.
