I used to go to McDonalds every month, at least once, as they were still something special here in the north of Germany.

But the food tastes great, but you are hungry at least two hours later, even if you filled yourself up.

The people behind the counter were always nice, but now, as we got Burger King, KFC, too, I favor Burger King - or, as I live in a multicultural part of town, some turkish, arab, indian food. Way tastier

Actually, just had a meal from there, drive thru - people were friendly, grub was good.

Since I've worked at McDonald's I rarely go there : I've seen how it is behind the curtains and it's not pretty. That's probably a good thing 'cause having worked there I know the tricks and I've become a pretty annoying customer...

I haven't cut back on going there, but then again, I never really used to go there very often in the first place. I'll swing by and grab some breakfast sometimes. Love the egg sandwiches and hash browns.

I haven't hit them in the am in a long time, but that's what they're really the most useful for. Their coffee isn't to bad, and a couple of sausage McMuffins, at a buck each, was an easy way to get some grub before work.

You have a lot of choices though. Many of the chains in Cali aren't in Ohio. I have a McDicks, a Wendy's, and arby's, a BK, a Subway, JimmyJohns, Penn Station and DeBella's. Out lying, there's Jersey Mike's, Pot Bellies, and a Rally's. I know it seems like a lot, but it is really easy to get sick of them quick. They're all fast food, and mom & pop restaurants aren't plentiful in my area.
