Are things a little slow around here?

Hey guys!

I have been gone for about half a year, and I came back here a few days ago. My impression now is that Freeones has slowed down quite a bit. It used to be, that when I logged in every day, I would find something like twenty or thirty post in my subscribed threads. Now it's more like five.

Also, I have started a couple of threads since I came back, but there are very few replies in them. Admittedly, this could be because most members here find my topics very boring, but it used to be that no matter what kind of stupid thread I started, people would just come storming in, making post after hilarious post.

Did something happen while I was gone? Did a lot of peole leave?

Obviously, I mean no offense to Freeones, or any of the admins or people that work here.

This is a result of the indiscriminate banning that was going on for too long. The policy has, reportedly, been changed but the damage has been done. In any event, the slump that you are observing has been mentioned in the past. The problem is, there's really nothing that can pro-actively been done about it. And no clear policy has been put in place to prevent this problem from persisting. And one or two of the mods don't seem to have a grasp of the situation. I could go on, but my foot is getting a bit close to the bear trap. Hopefully we don't lose you too. Be patient and wait for a better day. We'll get back to normal....it will just take some time.

People come and go. Many of the tried-and-true who were here when I started are gone. They really brought substance to the Boards here. Anybody can get on here and tell us all how they like to jerk off to Jessica Alba. But the folks who could type something funny about Alba--or at least start a fun thread or two--made these forums what they used to be.
