Anyone subscribed to a paysite?

Just out of curiosity: Has anyone here currently or previously subscribed to a paysite? I never did, because I keep telling myself that I find enough good porn for free, but I sure was tempted a number of times.

I'd like to know which sites you joined and if it was worth the money. Can you recommend anything?

I agree, Goblin. I'd like to see Terri's site as well! I once subscribed to www.private.com, but there was so much content (no kidding) I couldn't download it fast enough. It would have taken me months, so I cancelled. It was expensive, but it was great stuff!

I don't have any subscriptions to any paysites mainly because I'd need a bigger hard drive and faster connection speed in order to get the full benefit. As long as I've got FreeOnes in my browser, I'm smiling!

I have an advise to those who are planning to join paysites

several years ago I subscribed to a paysite and totally forgot about it (it was a website of an amateur model and was around only 8 bucks a month thats why I never paid that much attention/and I thought I only subscribed for a few months) after several years when I checked my bank statement I saw that I was still being charged and when I checked the website it is no longer existing. In other words, I realized I was still being billed for a website which no longer existed

I'm sure this would not happen to most of you guys especially since if you are big fans of the sites you join you would go back often but just in case.

I feel embarassed sharing this story but hope this will prevent some from experiencing the same .

I hate that automatic rebilling thing. I'm pretty sure I would cancel it in time, though, mainly because I know I'd be sorry about the money as soon as I hit "Join now". I'm a little surprised by Nightfly saying it was too much content. That's the last thing I'd expect to happen. I always think there's really not much to find in a paysite. Maybe Nightfly was lucky or I'm just plain wrong.

also they love the fact that there is so much other things to do! Now that's a lot more than just a pay pornsite....all the extra things you can do make it worth it....

No, not at all. Obviously yours is really a cool place to hang out at and it seems your members get a lot of return for their money. That's a great approach, value the customers and make them stay longer.

Trouble is, though, that virtually anyone can set up an inviting preview site, but you'll never know what's actually inside. There are paysite reviews everywhere on the net, but even some of those are just affiliates' advertisements.

As I said, I don't really have experience on that field, but from what I heard, Terri's site is rather an exception than the rule.

Hi friends! Several things (and pardon my prolix ramblings below LOL):

1) PRIVATE has been doing porn for like 40 years. The stuff I found appealing (NOT the dated, out-of style stuff which was the first 30 years) literally was tens of thousands of pictures, thouands of pages, lots of links, hundreds of quality vids, and model bios. With a dial-up connection, it took ages for me to view since their content is/was so damned hi-resolution and top-notch. They publish many magazines which are exlusively pictorial, basically, so their archives are huge. I'm by no means trying to be a spokeman for PRIVATE, but it has been far and away my favorite porn production company for a decade now. Good stuff!!!

2) Paysites -- I wish there could be issued a ONE-TIME, IP address-based, TRULY FREE one-day trial password or something for paysites. With more and more bogus sites out there, and with identity theft a HUGE issue, I think people are very skeptical of using credit cards online. Maybe more sites could have a PayPal option or some other secure means; it might make more potential customers comfortable.

It's just SO common to see a $3.95 three-day trial offer on a site, and all they do is steal your credit card number (or their customer service/unsubscribe service is never reachable so you cannot cancel). I think a one-day freebie pass would be ideal and really build consumer confidence, giving a person the ability to really scour the site! But then again, it should not be WIDE OPEN full access....people with high speed connections would just download everything there all at once and never come back! lol

3) Terri, please don't apologize AT ALL for explaining your site! You have every right to explain and describe your site here, and of course I'm sure you'd love us all to be members! I'm sure most of us would LOVE to be members! Don't feel bad for promoting your work. You've earned the right to do so!!!

Well, I've said what I had to say right now. lol Enjoy the free stuff out there, and please be careful with the pay stuff. The recurring billing thing (mentioned above) is tricky, and always make sure you use an internet purchase-protected credit card when signing up! There's a lot of bad stuff out there, but there are also many well-reputed, respectable, and honest quality porn pay-sites out there! Just read the terms and conditions thoroughly before you join a site, and I'm sure you'll be pleased once you find the site's standards in accord with your own!!!!

paysites that do that - steal cc info or use payment processor who doesn't allow member to cancel should be revealed in public, on as many places as possible...

what good paysite should have is: regular updates (video and picture, at least 2 times a week), unique content (not to have same pics as 100 other sites out there), should offer huge intereaction of porn star with members (by offering members forum, chat, live cam show once a week, blog with coments, maybe even option to send scenario for some of next movies, or to buy your goddess a present whe will use in next web cam show...), should have clean navigation easy to use, good customer support (especially tech and billing support), probably something more... sad is not many sites offer that

I've been a member of quite a few and haven't had any billing issues. I find the content of many of the good ones unmatched compared to what you can get for free (or steal).
