I'd seriously like to know the answer to this.
Please, post a link to any videos or website your band has online!
If you dare...

I used to make music, but my guitar got stolen a few years back and I've never had enough extra cash at any one point to justify buying another one. Womp womp wooomp.

ive had a few bands.

my last band broke up because i moved out of state. a shame too, i had taught one of the members how to play drums and she ended up taking them over and singing at the same time. i have no idea how you sing and drum because i cant..but she sure could.

as for lately, ive only gotten to play with a few people here and there for fun.

im currently back concentrating on drums. im rocking some electric drums and still playing some guitar.

i never was in a band, but supported some, after a while got rid of them, i am into punk/hardcore, not jesus singing opera with a black guitar (rock ballads and deep purple shit)

i never was in a real band although there were a couple times in high school a few of us would try to start one but we were always short a member or two. for a small town there was a pretty good music scene but a very limited amount of kids who would or could be in a metal band..most were into punk rock or classic rock.

in high school i was more of a punk drummer with some alternative flares. then this one band wanted me in and gave me a bunch of metallica cds for me to learn.

when i put them on i was thinking.. you gotta be fucking kidding me. it was the first time i actually heard them and was wondering why the hell they thought i could just learn metal drumming. i didnt even have a double bass pedal.

fuck those guys.

yup, me and my best friend were metalheads i played guitar and he played bass mostly or 2nd guitar and we had a friend who could do vocals but it was always tough finding a drummer. we found one kid but he ended up annoying us and just wanted to play whiny emo crap. the only real legit drummer who was into metal around our school was almost always in two or three bands it seemed like.

I'm the drummer in an all-original metal/heavy rock outfit. We've got a full length studio album, a video in production, and a few live videos online. We've got another 7ish new songs in various stages of completion, and we're planning to start recording again next winter when the rest are written and polished. Our following is still small in our region, but we're gradually building an audience, and landing bigger shows. We'd be working harder if we didn't have the obstruction of day jobs (but at least we can eat *and* pay for good equipment *and* fund our own projects... so dammit, I guess it's worth it).

PM me if you're genuinely interested in more info. I'm wary of outing myself on a porn forum, so I won't link anything publicly on the board. (Despite metal and porn sharing a long and lusty history, there's still enough stigma attached which I'd rather not have in my personal life).

drummers are hard to find. and metal isnt easy. just not big into metal. i dabble in it sometimes, but its not not scene. kick ass drumming though. i do have this double kick habit people like when i drum.

i also play a little guitar, but drumming is my thing. hell, im itching to play.. i know what ima do tomorrow..

if i had shit up, id post it. all i got is shitty cassettes everywhere. recorded under a cardboard box in my room.

I've played in two Garage/Cover Bands. Now I just work on my own Music!

If this thread was called "Was anyone here in a band" then I could say oh yes very much so.

12 years of drumming experience but not so much in the way of bands. Curses to all that following academia nonsense.

The band I was in the longest was called Four G or Forgy depending on the venue and what not. It was fun but quite non-committal overall
