I am anxious to see Rossi & Hayden as team mates, gonna try to go to Laguna next year.

I'm still eager to see Spies do well. His rookie season was quite good. And now that he's on a proper factory team, we'll see what he can do. See how he gets along with Lorenzo though. I personally can't stand that little twit. Jorge has incredible talent, which I respect, but his ego and self aggrandizing antics are the exact opposite of what I think a true champion should be. He'd do well to learn from Spies' example of what it means to be a relentless competitor AND an honorable sportsman.

Wow. I never been so much aware of the bike race scene... more into F1 or such.
But I think I will do some watching in the future, or maybe more. Excellent racing, and the sheer energy of this!
If the guys on top of F1 have balls of steels, these guys must pack adamantium :clap:
I love Ben Spies.. WSBK is just not the same without him. And boy is Haga struggling
I follow Moto GP. I'm Italian but I don't cheer for Rossi: too much arrogant for my tastes and won only when there was not real competitors.

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
I try to catch MotoGP when they show it on Speed Channel after the F1 replays. I'm going to try to go to an AMA Superbike race at VA International Raceway this year. I know some of the names when I hear them, but I don't follow motorcycle racing closely enough to know exactly who is in what series. But I love going to VIR, so I think it would be a nice outing for me and my girl.
Have you ever been to Laguna Seca before, Dawn Marie? I hear that with the elevation changes, it's a GREAT place to watch a race! Enjoy!

I got into watching the races a few years ago. With hubby we watch MotoGP, World Superbike, Supercross and last year started watching F1.
Going to try to go to Laguna, but not sure if I will make it this year as I have a lot of things going on... but gonna try.
I'm from Spain, so imagine, only soccer is most popular than MotoGP here.
This year is gonna be:
1 Casey Stoner
2 Jorge Lorenzo
3 Valentino Rossi
4 Ben Spies
5 Daniel Pedrosa (some news say that he will never recover ok after his last injury, big problem with a nerve in the collarbone)

Wow, and were you born in 1981? you were a 7/8 years old child during Sito Pons prime.
Been a fan since 1989 back in the 500 days when I watched Wayne Gardner win at Phillip Island on tv as a kid. Personally its my fav form of motorsport! For 2 reasons -
1. There's genuine overtaking. Can't say the same for formula 1 and V8 supercars.....
2. There's always an aussie at the front to cheer on
Go Stoner! But I have a feeling Jeremy Burgess will be able to sort out the Ducati's handling so Rossi will again be a force this year. And can Yamaha keep up the pace with Rossi and Burgess leaving? Should be a very interesting year and much closer than last year.....

Oh I can't stand Pedrosa, goes back to when he took Nicky & himself out of that race, LOL. What can I say, I am a KY girl I also would not mind seeing Ben in the top 5 myself.

I've always said: "If Pedrosa would not have kicked Hayden in Portugal, Rossi would have been more agressive in Valencia, he would have not started 7th, Rossi would have won that race and Nicky would not world champion". Nicky was the champion because Dani kicked him.
