Any Outsiders You Would Like To See Run For President?

One of my good friends lost his dad to cancer when we were in high school. Come to find out, his dad had huge insurance policies through the company he worked for, paid out several million. Him and his mom moved away, but he was never happy about being suddenly rich.

I wanted to respond to this but I wanted to take the time to respect your post. I feel bad about your friend not being able to enjoy a life of financial ease. I also feel money doesn't buy happiness but it does stabilize your life. Hopefully the stability and security of the money would bring a person closer toward where they could be happy. Once you feel you've won in life you still need to find other things to conquer to keep from getting bored. I conquer boredom by being low maintenance, easily amused and satisfied. I know I'm a worthless stoner also knowing I have every right to feel lucky so I enjoy life.

Uncle Ted is 73, but Kid Rock is 51 and gets Trump's support. He would be a great outsider.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
While this is true, it also gives them time to hone their criminality. Sometimes, sometimes, going in, with a little less experience might give a person, time to see a perspective from more sides. Although I personally believe anyone that wants that much power, wants it for themselves, not the people.

Years ago, I pulled that in an interview for a job driving a gas tanker for Sun refining (Sunoco). # against one interview, and when my experience came up I told them, "I may have never hauled gas before, but if you think about it like this, I have no experience, but what you will teach me. So I won't be able to do it, any other way, then the way you want me to". They looked at each other, clearly impressed by either my brilliant insight, or stunning ability to bull shit them, but I got the job. Believe it or not, hauling gas is a great job, but you get the shittiest work schedules.
That's a really good point. Many people are hardwired into how they do something, especially if they have done it for a long time. So long as the person is willing to learn and follow the methods that they taught by the new employer, they can be molded into the employee that they are looking for.

I hope you didn't take my comment as a dig, it wasn't intended that way. I always thought my buddy should do his best to let go of the pain and realize his dad had the forethought to make sure his family was taken care of. Reading back I was out of line, my apologies.

You and me are always good.

Hopefully it’s not too late for your friend too. There is much life left to experience and every day is a new day.

Yeah, let's put someone who has no idea what he's doing in charge of the greatest country in the world, it absolutely doesn't sound like a recipe for disaster...

You know what, sir... I'm gonna take that as a compliment no matter how it was intended. It's ours now and possession is 9/10ths of the law over here in this jurisdiction we call America, I reckon.
I meant it about the conomi, the mùilitary, the diplomatic influence, the way America spreads its culture all around the world...
