I have a few friends who are into "The Fast and The Furious" import cars LOL, and also some friends who are into muscle cars. Just seeing if anyone on here shares that hobby too :) Post some pics of your car if you want! I love seeing sweet rides!

I am a car girl, if that is cool. I love cars, but not the cars in The Fast and The Furious. I would love to get a Chevelle SS.

JaneB Now that is a car. Of course could always go with something like a '70 GTO Judge. BUt have always loved the Chevelle SS. Wish my sister still had hers... that car was sweet.

Bree Olson, Hi sexy. I am not a car guy per say... I like cars (60's and 70's american muscle) But not big on the knowledge or know how on them. Never been big with the construction... more of a destruction guy myself. Hands on of course none of that blowing stuff up. Thats to easy.

Saw "Fast and the Furious - Tokyo Drift" a while back, almost made me physically sick. Who on earth would put a fucking Nissan sewing machine engine in a Mustang!? I mean, come on! I think they just defined blasfemy, right there ...

I would. :thefinger

Torn & Frayed.
I'm a major motorhead,old-school.

...mostly American made from 1949 on up to about 2009.That's not to say I have a problem with other manufacturers,it's just that I know more about the old American ones....the ones you can work on and repair without having a degree of some kind, just some tools,a shop manual, and a can of WD-40.

I sound a lot like this guy. I won't drive a tuner or anything foreign (Asian, European...take it back) for that matter. I drive 100% American. I drive a '89 Ford Thunderbird, which looks alright, but is really underpowered. My dream is this baby:

Seeing tuners...Nissan's, Honda's...I just don't get it. They look dumb to me, and hearing the high wine of a turbo can't compare to the roar of a big block. I know I sound like a typical narrow-minded idiot, but I can't help it. Sorry. :p

Muscle cars are best. :thefinger

What do you think of this?

Dodge Challenger Daytona pic
Vortech supercharged 5.7-liter V8 engine that should be good for around 600 horsepower or more.

I am a car guy since a very long time. My likes are mainly American cars made from 1957 till 1971 with some american cars made in the late 80's-90's and of course the 00's.
I like the 1957 chrysler 300c letter car coupe a lot, it was the first American Muscle car ever made, it combined the famous first generation hemi 392ci engine with the push button torque flite auto transmission, the rare manual pont a mousson gearbox is rarely seen is 300c. The 300c was nicknamed the banker's hot rod, it was priced near the 10000$ in the 50's but it had everything a luxury car needed plus the astradome dashboard is a must see for anyone who hasn't seen it. The car topped the 145mph, went from 0 to 60mph in 7.7 seconds and ran the 1/4th mile in 17.0sec at 90mph. I also liked the 1957 bel air with the fuel injected 283ci chevy which porved itself very consistent on shot track races.
In terms of american luxury cars of the 50's the imperial sedans and convertibles as well as the lincoln markII, markIII and the famous cadillac eldorado biarritz from 1959 are my favorite models.
For what is about purely muscle car I am more a mopar guy and a gm guy than a ford guy.
My favorite Mopar muscle cars are mainly the B-Bodies: the dodge charger r/t, the dodge coronet r/t, plymouth roadrunner and plymouth gtx either backed with a 440 magnum/commando engine or a 440-6 or a 426 hemi. My favorite GM muscle cars are the A-Bodies: the 1970-1971 Buick GS 455 and its variant the GSX Stage1, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle ss 454 ls6 and Olds 442 w33.
For what concerns Ford my favorite muscle cars models are the 1969-1970 mustang mach 1 with 428ci ram air super cobra jet engine, the 1969-1970 mustang boss 429, the 1970-1971 ford torino cobra with the 429 super cobra jet and the manual 4 speed with hurst t handle shifter.
Regarding luxury cars of the 70's, the 1970-1971 cadillac fleetwood, the 1970-1971 buick electra 225 limited, the 1970-1971 oldmosbile super 88 brougham de luxe or the 1970-1971 Imperial Crown Le Baron would be my picks.
About the 80's, I very much liked the ASC Buick Regal Grand National GNX and the saleen mustangs. For what concerns the 90's, the viper, the seville sts, the eldorado tc the corvette ZR1, the impala ss, the camaro z28 anniversary edition and pontiac transam firehawk limited edition by slp was also something I liked. For what concerns the 00's, the z06 427 corvette gets my vote as well the cts-v and the sts v.
I like german cars too especially Porsche, Audi (anything made before 2010), Mercedes (anything made before 2002) and BMW (anything made before 2002).
The Porsche 959 with its awd system is my favorite model alongwith the racing legends that are the 917, the 917-30 and the 956-962 families of racing cars.I like also the modified ruff and 9ff versions of the 993 gt porsches.
My favorite audis are the audi v8, the first generation of audi a8s, the second and actual generation of audi a8s as well as the r8.
About Mercedes, I liked their older designs which were made between 1975 till 1999, those
included the legendary w126 design which I liked especially with the 560 sel sedan and the w140 design which I liked especially with 600 sel sedan which was introduced in 1992. I also liked and still like the 600 sl convertible. But the newer mercedes designed models are definitely not of my tastes.
For what concerns BMW, I was always a fan of the 7 series which were introduced in late 1979 and were completely changed in 1999 and changed again lately. My favorite 7 series are the 750 il luxury sedans 1988-1999, they were some of the best designed and best made cars by BMW with a classic an elegant line.
Am I a fan of japanese cars? Not really because if thinking that a fart can exhaust or some nos will make you faster, it is just wrong. I have seen several muscle cars giving one of the hell of a lesson to some supras or eclipses.

Mustang's have sucked ass for as long as I can remember now. Hell, Ford in general has had a shit product for a good two decades (at least) now.

Ford has a special catalogue of hi perf parts comparable to the gm goodwrench hi perf engines, here it is http://www.fordracingparts.com/crateengine/main.asp. If you are into mega big block engines or engines that go out of ordinary then there is jon kaase who remanufactures the legendary 429 boss engine http://www.jonkaaseracingengines.com/, probably the best ford engine made after the 427 sohc and the 427 side oiler 427 (often referred as engine code r).

I like all cars. Hate to sound PC here, but I see good examples in all of them. Love old school muscle and new school, SOME imports, don't get me wrong... SOME. Front wheel drive normally equals wrong wheel drive, but there are several I really like. European cars too, I like BMW's and Audis.
