I think I had an orgasm looking at that car.

That is a beautiful car, Jane. My car was a Lime green 1969 Roadrunner Max Wedge 440 6-pack. If only I still had that car, I could sell it now and retire. Oh wait- I CAN retire. Maybe I'll buy it back. But I'd have to live in the desert so it didn't rust away in the winter. Do you have a spare room and an empty spot in the garage? Take care. :D

Very nice Car...

I read above, that you also like some BMWs. I am from germany. Maybe the whole world likes Porsche, Mercedes, BMW and maybe Audi, but I miss the soul in our "german manufactured" cars. The techniques are perfect. The cars are strong, well made, low mileage (most of them) and run for a lifetime, but the actual german cars are missing something...

There is NO actual german car, which has the charm of an classic american muscle-car or cabriolet :crying:

But that depends on the european market. Nobody here would buy a car, which burns up 15-20 or more liters of fuel.

Actually I do have a spare bedroom and a spot in the garage. Let me know when you plan to get here. :)

I did a personal shoot for a friend who was trying to get his car in a magazine. It was a 1998 Integra, but wasn't riced out, it was an import I actually liked. Did another one more recently for a friend, same story, and it was a new ZR1.

I'd get a new ZR1 but I'd rather spend the $123,000 on porn instead :D

I was always into the exotic European cars. My favorites are Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Maserati, etc.

If I could have any car ever made, it would be a GTO. Most people think of a Pontiac when the three letters GTO are mentioned, but what few realize is that Pontiac named their car after the original GTO, which was made by Ferrari in 1962. Ferrari made only about 28-33 of them. They had the classic, Ferrari V-12 engine, and were immensely successful on the race track. They are considered by many to be the ultimate Ferrari.

Here is what a Ferrari 250 GTO looked like:

They are all owned by collectors these days, and it has been said that if one of those lucky owners were ever to even dream of selling his, he would probably have 10 calls about it before getting out of bed. I'm not exactly sure what one would sell for, but it would cost several million dollars.

Ferrari also made another GTO model in 1984-85. This was a twin turbo V-8 model. There were approximately 220 of them made, and they would sell for somewhere between $350,000 to $450,000.

Here is what the newer GTO looked like:

I love the look of the new Corvette. My friend who works at Lingenfelter (I think) promised me a ride. SO EXCITED!

I have a few friends who are into "The Fast and The Furious" import cars LOL, and also some friends who are into muscle cars. Just seeing if anyone on here shares that hobby too :) Post some pics of your car if you want! I love seeing sweet rides!

But remember, this is coming from a guy that's owned a Porsche and a Mercedes...

Shit man, '69 Roadrunner with a 440 6-pack...that's the same car that turned me on to Mopar performance. Older friend restored one. It didn't look great, but it had that power underneath the hood. The first time I drove it, I was 15 and we went to an old airport runway. Got it up to about 140...scared the shit out of myself, and my friend who thought I was going to barrel off the end of the strip. That motor was so fucking powerful that it felt like the engine was just going to rip out of the car and leave me behind. In the end he totaled it, not me. He's ok...the car was complete junk though. Shame...with some body work, it would have been a great show car. The sound of accelerating through the gears with that thing is one I dream about often...:D

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
I hope so... I have been to a few of the drag strips around here, and also to Hot Import Nights in Chicago.

I bet Chicago was fun. I hear the H.I.N. show in Atlanta is off the charts. I went to the one in Richmond, VA and the NOPI race in Bristol several years ago and they were a lot of fun. I usually go to sports car races and such, and the import crowd seems to have a lot more fun at night... if ya know what I mean.

I've gotten more into drag racing the past few years. Open wheel racing (IRL) has kind of a depressing feel to it now - do they still even run that lil 500 mile race at Indy in May? :)tongue: :D) Sports car racing has more of a snob appeal. NASCAR has a lot of haters in the stands. But drag racing seems like it's a style of racing that invites EVERYBODY in.

And the coolest thing about NOPI and H.I.N. is you tend to see more hot girls, such as yourself there, who'll pose for shots if you ask.
