I had to sell mine since it was back in Sweden and bringing it over to the Netherlands just wasn't economically viable.
French oak hull, mahogany interior and teak decking.
Built in 1953 in Stockholm, original owner was a priest who after receiving it realized he didn't know anything about boats, so 2 years afterwards he sold it to my grandfather, in 1976 my father took it over, and in 2003 he gave it to me since he bought a bigger boat.
The fenders are handmade by father.
In 1991 the engine caught on fire, but we managed to put it out and then replaced it.
In 1995 we apparently hadn't watered it down enough so when we launched it it sank like a stone to the bottom, got stuck in mud and we worked for 3 days to pull it up again, but that summer it hardly took on any water at all.
In 1997 we replaced the deck, including the ridge, which included us buying an old moonshine distillery from the police and converting that to a steam pipe so we could bend the wood to the correct shape. And yes, the police did come out and check up on us as we were converting it to make sure no funny business was going on.
In 2001 it was never launched, instead I sanded down the entire hull and spent the summer laying on 8 layers of varnish.
I really do miss that boat, and I hate the fact that I had to get rid of it, but its better that someone uses it than let it stand on land and rot away.
I´ve only got this image here at work, but I´ll dig out another one if your interested when I get back home again.
