Anyone check out the documentary, Metal: A Headbangers Journey? Fantastic stuff with interviews featuring all the usual suspects, live footage and best of charts depicting Black Metal, Death Metal, Norwegian Death Metal and sub-genres no-one's even heard of.
It was a typo, i had already listed a few bands above that i like. I was just pointing out that Slayer, Pantera etc are not Black or Death metal, they are Thrash. My point doesnt make much of a difference but i just thought id point it out
love Pantera, old metallica, sepultura, slayer, anthrax, megadeath, powerman 5000,ect. but i do not consider them death metal those groups are the likes of morbid angel, death, king diamond, ect.
Rammstein, Children of Bodom, Slipknot, Hatebreed, DevilDriver, Lordi, Pro Pain, Dragonforce, Static-X allkick ass in different styles of the metal genre
I'm not sure what gets classified under that label. I do like a lot of "harder" metal bands though. HUGE Megadeth fan, they kick ass!!! Pantera, Rage Against the Machine are a couple others that come to mind.
I like Entombed,Morbid Angel and a couple of others that comes from the Florida scene or play with the Sunlight sound although I don´t listen to it much.
Best of all is Repulsion!
