Anti-Israel Presidency?

Today at the UN Obama delivered a stear and forceful speech to the UN and the globalcommunity, actually Fox was praising the speech as well. But one thing did point out and I have a question. Is Obama anti-Israel? I don't mean anti-semitic, I mean does he want to get rid of the Jewish State? Here are a few points from his speech.

"America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements."

But it was the use of the U.N. forum to carry the settlement message to Israel that drew the most enthusiastic response on the floor -- and incredulous reaction outside its walls.

Obama just put Israel "on the chopping block," said former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. John Bolton.

Obama said four issues separate the two sides: security, borders, refugees and Jerusalem, but the goal is clear: a secure, Jewish state for Israel and "a viable, independent Palestinian state with contiguous territory that ends the occupation that began in 1967. I did not think that the IDF occupied anything, the attacked it numerous times after be attacked my Hamas I though they removed all Jews in 2005, but I must be worng.

Here is the rest of the article http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/09/23/obama-world-dont-expect-america-fix/

I don't know but to me it sounds like Obama wants to give in and have a Palestinian state as well. If we give the Palestinian's what they want, Israel will no longer be our ONLY ally in teh Middle East and Hamas will foster and grow to be bigger than Al-Qaeda, as Hamas is a socio-political organization that has its own paramilitary the Izz-ad-Din-al-Qassam, it is listed as a terror organization by the EU, USA, Austraila and Great Britian.

Thoughts?

I think that the fact of having a president called Barack Hussein Obama and who is a hidden closet wahabi muslim is enough significant to see why he backs up the Arabs and why he kisses every Arab nation's ass. Even American Jewish voters who are deep liberals/democrats, regret their vote but it is too late. Like the expression says :"You give them a hand and they will take you an arm." Palestinians are a fictional people, they are mainly migrants from various arab states who migrated in the occupied territories in order to create Palestine.
The problem is that the Obama voters were completely ignoring how pro arab Obama was and personally I prefered Bush because he clearly knew that Israel was the really of USA in the Middle East. Look at what did Obama to Poland and the Czech Republic, he backstabbed them by cancelling the antimissile shield and yielding to Putin's blackmail.
Just my honest opinion.

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
Get rid of Israel? Hasn't anyone here heard of the Cranston Amendment? No one here realizes why every American candidate has to stand up and proclaim his love and support for the state of Israel... PRIOR to being elected??? Nobody ever wondered why that was so important?

At most, Obama might hesitate when the Zionists tell him to hop. But make no mistake about it, hop he will. Just like every other American President has. The tail wags the dog. Those illegal Israeli settlements are being paid for with American taxpayer $ (one way or the other).

Kind of like Bush and the neocons rallying cry of "you're either with us or against us"... the Zionists have played this perfectly for decades. Either you're a Zionist... or you're a Nazi sympathizing, anti-Semite. One or the other. There is no middle ground.

And the funniest thing of all: a lot of Jewish Americans are opposed to Zionism... and the most loyal Zionists in the United States are neocons and fundamentalist, Evangelical Christians. Go figure.

That's because the fundies see the birth of Israel in 1948 as the beginning of the biblical prophecy concerning the return of Christ. Some of the more zealous ones actively propose destroying the muslim mosque, the dome of the rock, in hopes of accelerating the second coming according to their interpretation of scripture.

How can you ask this vvvv?

Is Obama anti-Israel? I don't mean anti-semitic, I mean does he want to get rid of the Jewish State? Here are a few points from his speech.

Then use this Obama statement as a rationale for the question???

but the goal is clear: a secure, Jewish state for Israel

Pretty tortured logic don't you think??? Not surprising though if your going to listen to the perspective of Fox and neoCON failure John Bolton.

"America does not accept the legitimacy of continued Israeli settlements."

You do know there are Jews against the "settlements" don't you??

If you are going to follow a path of logic laid out by John Bolton, you will find yourself nowhere but lost. His laundry list of failures and imprecise predictions (putting it nicely) is long and well documented.

1. Obama is right about the issues which separate the parties.

2. I'm not sure what your definition of occupy is but most reasonable people (including many Jews) believe Israel occupies The West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Oh George *sigh* I'd rather not even comment that statement. It speaks for it's own lunatic self.

Back to topic.

The real Anti-Israelis in this affair are the people that govern Israel.

Despite of a growing part of inhabintants of Israel who want the healing to begin, they still let the Ultras have their way and usurp more and more land from the neighbours.

Reaching out across the religious divide would make this country become peaceful, in due time, it would not work right away. Too many lifes have been wasted on both sides.

And as the Israel government continues to attack the Palestine regions again and again, the Hamas doesn't need to worry they would run out of fighting staff.

The sad thing is that two religions, who both claim that they are essentially about love and the well-being of mankind, keep on this war, both as a holy crusade. And you just can't rationalize with people who value religion over reason.

Of course the Jews are aganist the settlements, they don't want the Gentiles in their country.

What worries me is when he said "a viable, independent Palestinian state with contiguous territory that ends the occupation that began in 1967."

Does that mean giving Palestine all the land between the West Bank and Gaza Strip therefore cutting Israel in half and what about the Golan Heights does that get connected as well.

Another wistful "I miss the old Germany, they knew how to handle the Jews" poster.
Lame diatribes on misinformation and revisionist history change nothing...so what if there are Americans who hate America and Israelis who love Palestinians?
There never was a Palestinian state, there really isn't a "Palestinian people", historically speaking...and any Palestinian who wishes to kill a Jewish baby or Grandma is hailed as a hero, there and here.
Please spare me your ignorance...
Obama is screwing you and you want some more...Israel is a litmus test for any world leader who trys to do right by his country...except for those who are in the basic Iran/Libya/Venezuela group of ego-idiots.
Good luck with your hopeless change...

.

It would not work at all period, there is way to much hatred for Jews in the middle east to make this even thinkable.

That is a generality and a misconception.

Most history shows things change rapidly when the flow of goods and wealth changes direction...the US and Japan, the US and Germany, etc...
Many Palestinians live and work in and near Israel, and would hate to lose the life they have...modern stores, good roads and transportation, good Doctors, and stuff to buy from good wages and thriving businesses.
Nothing going on in the territories except religious despotism and abject poverty...rocket construction pays very little and doesn't have a great deal of longevity.

Israelis are modern, basically Western value people with a desire to watch soccer matches with friends on a decent TV, raise their kids safely and see them grow up, and live pretty much the same as in the US and Europe.
If the Hamas thing was ever to go, the people might find some leaders who wanna live a different life, and there would be a real change then.
Not until the political machinations of the major players in the Middle East get checkmated or diverted, the poorest of the people are gonna continue to be the pawns in the ongoing jockeying for power and advantage in the highest levels of economic warfare that is the real worldwide conflict...Israel has economic power that dwarfs most Islamic countries, excepting the oil market...and that's the real source of conflict.

There never was a Palestinian state, there really isn't a "Palestinian people", historically speaking...
Using that goofy logic, many countries never existed nor do it's people. I'm guessing you've never heard of the British Mandate of Palestine?

Please spare me your ignorance...

No. Please, spare us.:o

Israel is a litmus test for any world leader who trys to do right by his country

I suppose if the products of a test keep failing....maybe the questions and goals of the test are in need of "change".:dunno:

Thats the thing, Hamas, Al-qadeia, Hezzebolla and other state sponsered terror organizations are doing what Egypt, Syria and other countries used to do to Israel. Other natios found out that if you mess with Israel you mess with the US and they want no part of that. A majority of Arab's see Israel as imposing westeren views and westeren culture in an area that does not want it.

A bit of research and the answer to your question.

Nothing will ever change as long as Israel hides and is allowed to hide behind the holocaust.

Does me saying this make me an anti-semite? Ofcourse it does. Anybody who's critical of Israel is an anti-semite.

I've always wondered why we obssess over this tiny country with no resources?:dunno:
I remember Sarah Palin had a secret meeting with AIPAC within 2 or 3 days of her being announced (before she even talked to reporters)as the Vice Presidential nominee. To blow off AIPAC seems to be political suicide.

Whatever the obssession with Israel I sure hope it's worth the 10 BILLION or so dollars in Free Aid the US gives Israel yearly.:dunno:

I sure hope Biblical fairy tales aren't the overwhelming reason for our unyielding support for Israel. :dunno:
