good point, MJ. however i will say this, i was not surprised but still dissappointed at how low key ****'s reaction was to that incident as compared to how over the top they are at attacking other people like....the olsen twins. in fact they were pretty much pussies about the whole Vick thing even when most of the public was up in arms about. that same general public that doesnt have the same supposed dedication to ****** rights. the Humane Society had a much more prominent role in that event by you probably didnt know that as well as a lot of people. why? cos the humane society isnt really concenrned about how much they get thier picture in the paper as opposed to the newkirk gang.
i was rather vocal about the Vick incident. matter of fact i was more fucking vocal about it than local **** was. during the first three weeks as the story unfolded, the local **** group was protesting KFC and some clothing company about leather. they didnt even mention Michael Vick. yet the local public outcry was the exact opposite.
i support the humane society. are they perfect? no. are they as two faced and double standard as Ingrid's group? no. **** is popular cos so many dippy headed celebs show off their social action bling by speaking for them. and we, in turn, as the dippy headed public say ooo and ahhh to the ***** for being so socially conscious. **** is not the second coming of jeebus as so many people seem to think they are.
the thing is, there are still hideous acts of ****** ***** in forms like dog fighting going on here, but no, lets focus on one groundhog in PA and dedicate a lot of funds towards that in advertising. those funds could possibly have gone towards supporting a shelter to house all those ******* that **** euthanizes each year. i dont **** ****, but i do think there are two other groups who do leaps and bounds more for ******* than ****, yet for some reason its glamourous cos occasionally **** will show a naked chick. Humane Society, SPCA....way better than Ingrid and her group. not an opinion, just fact.
so to answer your question. no i'm not for the unethical treatment of *******. i just like to show it the most optimal and effective way possible so i support and donate to two other groups. also yes, i think a lot of thier publicity stunts tend to make some people less likely to participate and thereby who suffers the most from that? the very ******* they claim to want to protect. then again, i'm one of those rare humans who thinks diplomacy is an art not worth giving up.
