and you are right, when I was actively shooting I wasn't guaranteed 100% safety with the performer I was working with. However, I did have a very long "No List" of performers I wouldn't work with. I pissed off some guys who I refused to shoot with because of their off camera behavior. Oh well. I also pissed off some directors because I had a very short list of guys I would work with. When I shot a few of the amateur style scenes for BangBros we went to talent testing in Miami that morning and the guy was tested on the spot, and was also tested 4 days prior. I was very lucky to never have caught anything because herpes is rampant as is bacterial vaginosis. Sit and talk with any director about how often girls test dirty and they'll tell you that there are certain girls who test dirty 8 or 9 months a year and testing is only required every 30 days. When I say "dirty" I mean for chlamydia and gonorrhea. They don't test for Herpes because there would be no industry left.
I left the industry for many reasons, one being because of the testing and because of an incident that happened on set. I was shooting for Brazzers and it was booked as a BG scene but when I got to set they had another girl there. She had driven straight from the Beverly Hills hotel where she had done an "overnight" with a client. When we were getting dressed she told me the entire story even though we didn't really know each other very well. She had a huge wad of $100 bills somewhere around $5,000 it looked like. She literally washed herself in the sink because she didn't have time to shower before. I went and told the director that I wasn't going down on her and that they had to shoot her intercourse after mine and no back n forth. Of course they were pissed because the viewers like seeing the back n forth between pussy which I don't get but whatever.
So we start shooting and while she's getting fucked pile driver the male talent pulls out and I swear to god on my son it smelled like a dead body. I don't know if it was air trapped in there or what, but it was one of the grossest thing I have ever smelled in my life. the male talent looked at me and put it back in and kept going. Afterwards when we were getting dressed I took her aside and told her about the smell and she said "oh I know. it gets like that sometimes if I douche too much. Plus I've had vaginosis for about a week I just haven't had time to go to Riggs (industry doctor on Saticoy in Canoga Park) to get anything for it."
and by the way, that girl is a BIG name in the industry.
At that moment I knew I was done. I never shot another BGG scene and a month later shot my last scene ever.
So anyone who thinks that these girls are EVER going to clean up their act or use some sense is just a fool. It sounds great, but won't happen. They go do calls with their escort clients and very often drive to set directly from the client. Believe it or not most porn shoots have a 8am call time. So imagine the condition of some of these girls at 8am.
