Of course I saw it... I keep a very close eye on that thread.

Some people say "eh", it's really no different than you Americans saying "huh" all the time. As in, "It's hot out today, huh?" we'd say "It's hot out today, hey?" or "It's hot out today, eh?" Most French Canadians don't pronounce their H's, I personally think "eh" is derived from "Hey"... but that's just my theory. I cannot provide a reliable source to back it up, lol.
