Amsterdam

i agree with alot you said foxelipus, and i'm not argueing with you as its been a while since i went.
Cities are changing all the time I am from manchester myself. and i hardly recognise the place when i'm there.
I'm love kebebs and curry its the uk's favourite type of food now with most people especially kebabs in oldham or manchesters curry mile hmmmm but you cant beat shawarma its the best to eat when pissed up imo. it can be pricey though.
I didnt count the hookers myself i got that info from a tv programme about amsterdam so apologies if that is wrong all you need to know Jagger is that there is lots.
The main thing is just for anyone to go there and you wont regret it and if anyone would like a trip to manchester look me up and i'll show you round and that includes you foxelipus if your still in the uk:glugglug:

pitino

are you talking to me?
thanks for the detailed info Fox!

Amsterdam is what you make it. It can be a city full of culture AND a city of debauchery and carnal delights, or you can totally separate them. Make of it what you want and just use common sense and instinct - as with anywhere, there are places you just don't want to go as a non-resident visitor, and there are perfectly harmless parts of the city. The people there are largely very helpful and friendly to tourists.

Have a good time, be safe, and use your common sense. :2 cents:

Amsterdam is the most beautiful city in the world! if you want the typic amsterdam go to the haarlemmerstraat and that area which is called the jordaan. For mad sexy girls to dance and just give you a really fun time go to teasers on the damrak. The best coffeeshop is the grashopper, spread around town. To go out for drinks, and have a good time go to the rembrandtsplein or the leidseplein. The max eewe plein also has good food!! then the best chinese are in the redlight district, they look like crap but are fantastic! try nam kee for example.. the hookers.. well better go to the yab yum, prettier girls, clean, and luxury enviroment. For the cheap hookers, the oudezijds have the youngest and prettiest ones. Cassa Rosso is fun to watch live sex shows. Smoking hash or weed is only allowed inside the coffeeshops.
Also when you a pay a hooker, dont expect love and tenderness, if you want a little more attention you go to a club and pick up a girl.If you cant do that you go to vive la vie or something on the thorbeckeplein, where the girls i belive also have sex, and they strip, and give you attention.
The people are cool, just make sure to tip good. Oh and try haring(typical dutch) and go to febo for the real dutch eat shit out of the wall experience...we all do it every so often!!Ask for a patatje oorlog and a frikadel..and for me to while you are at it!!!
more info i am sure the guys of freeones can help you!!

Ah yes - pints of Guinness for only 50p (approx 88 cents), partying until 6 in the morning, friendly ladies, watching your mates pass out after (foolishly) drinking too much absinthe and STILL finding time to take in the wonderful sights........
