Thanks for the support folks. I try to write eloquent, informed, carefully thought through opinion pieces which, like it or not, are shared with a significant minority worldwide and in the US. I don't see why I should have to don flame retardent clothing when there were many points open for mature debate. So far no one has offered anything resembling a thoughtful set of counter-arguments. This adds to the probability that, at least in part, I am right. No profanity needed thanks.

Glenn Beck and Ed are basicly two of the same just with different political views. Americans love to be entertained and politics is no different. Look at our obsession with celebs and party people. These two do not speak for me, I can't say the same for other Americans.
