Mason City, IA - Anyone using Internet mail such as Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL and so on need to watch their inbox very carefully.

Both Microsoft and Norton sent out alerts this week to IT departments and websites like www.snopes.com confirming the companies have identified a virus that arrives in an e-mail with the subject line "Mail Server Report." The virus is known as Warezov.W or W32/Warezov.x.

The "IT Services Alert Notification" from Microsoft and Norton cautions Windows-based PC users about the mass-mailing worm which arrives by email. The body of the email contains the following message.

Mail Server report. Do not open.

Our firewall determined the emails containing worm copies are being sent from your computer.

Nowadays it happens from many computers, because this is a new virus type (Network Worms).

Using the new bug in the windows, these viruses infect the computer unnoticeably.

After the penetrating into the computer the virus harvests all the email addresses and sends the copies of itself to these email addresses.

Please install updates for worm elimination and your computer restoring.

I thought I give everyone heads up on this if you get this email do not open it delete it.

I never open anything unless it's specifically from someone I know (very few people/companies even have my email), but thanks for the warning.

Thanks. I'll be sure to let others know about this.

Thank you slowhand for the warning.

On viruses: Does anyone know if you can give a virus to your computer by ejaculating onto the screen? :yahoo:
