What would you like to see done with Roe versus Wade?

If I would be pregnant of you, I surely would consider abortion. That's for sure.

In this case, it's not up to me to take a horrible decision like that, and I'm glad I don't have to make conclusions here. I think it's up to court and the state of Texas to decide how to deal with this matter.

Anybody that thinks overturning Roe v Wade is gonna happen anymore than shipping undocumented aliens out of the country en masse is delusional and that is putting it nicely. Once some of my fellow friends on the right accept the fact that overturning it would never stop it, they could find other issues to hang their hat on.

I am a failure to the Korean side of my family
I would have the two of them battle it out in a steel cage match, but that Roe always keeps a set of brass knucks under their trunks.

What bugs me in this debate is, there is 'Pro Choice' and 'Pro Life'

What 'Pro Life' really is, it is 'Anti Choice'

I am very much 'Pro Choice'.

The woman made her choice when she decided to have sex. So pro-life people aren't anti-choice at all.
Obviously, if going through with the pregnancy puts the mother's life at risk, she shouldn't be forced to do so. But I think it's disgusting how abortion is so often used as just another form of birth control.

Good way of putting it.

Accidents happen when people make the choice to have sex it doesn't mean they are trying for a child. You have a valid point with lazy immature people not using protection enough but what is worse, those people ruining their own life by being irresponsable or by bringing another life into this world that they can ruin too.

Tough issue... for those of you who know me, I'm going to come down on the side of individual freedom most times, and I do think abortions should be kept legal.

I do, however, have a problem with Roe v. Wade on a legal basis, where the Federal courts basically over-reached their power IMHO and made policy... which always makes me nervous, but that's a debate for another thread.
