OR.....too bad it wasn't the proceeds from the drugs. That I wouldn't have flushed down the toilet.

Still, though you didn't do the right thing, it could be dangerous. What if the people who hid it there go looking for it and then ask who might have taken it? If it was dealers...oh, shit! Get a gun and keep it near you when you sleep! If it was just someone's personal stash, I guess you'd be safe.

Anyway, what would I have done? There's no way I would have sold it because I want nothing to do with the drug trade, no matter how much money I would have made, though I would have no problem taking a drug kingpin's money for myself and put it to good use. I think I would have turned it over to the cops, though, but not in Mexico. You find drugs in Mexico and you try to turn it over to the cops you get arrested for possession. The Mexican cops are too stupid to distinguish between someone who wants to do the right thing and a trafficker.
