I know that you say that with sarcasm but in a lot of ways it's true. not specifically you, but many wealthy people rely and count on the poor staying poor. hence the lagging wage increases by corporations and layoffs while executives get mutli-million dollar bonuses. the middle class didnt shrink itself counselor.
I give to the poor in many ways. Not just monetarily. I am not going into specifics. I also will be doing volunteer work for several weeks next year working with the poorest of the poor and those that are hungry and sick on Mercy Ships. One week of not working is a considerable loss in income. 12 weeks is a sacrifice.

that's great. but what about the people you support who give a free pass to companies that fuck their workers? how can you be so charitable and yet you support people who take the livelihoods of working Americans to add yet another million or billion to their portfolio?

Milano once you realize that most private corporations are not formed to create jobs they are formed to create profit you'll get along much better. Jobs are an after effect of a corporation becoming profitable and expanding. The board of directors pay their CEO whatever the fuck they want to. If they think the CEO is worth 50 mil a year then that is their decision. Deal with it.

well regulations on wages and performance for corporate salaries, like it was in the 1950s and 1960s would fix that. you know that golden age in american that you tea baggers are trying so hard to get back to? when GDP was 90% and a ****** could afford to live and take vacations? back then the average CEO only made 7 times that of the average worker. now its thousands of times more. how about companies like Home Depot that loses money has to pay a CEO a $50 million severance for fucking the company? cant imagine the stock holders like that too much.
