Creed.....
how do I begin to express how much I despise that Pearl Jam-wannabe, trailer trash grunge, overrated band?
I really believe that when the music industry suits saw us younger guys in our 20's spending our hard earned money on those early albums by Nirvana and Pearl Jam and attending their concerts, then with Cobain offing himself, and with Pearl Jam not wanting to play ball with Ticketmaster, the suits "created" Creed, a poor attempt to Frankenstein a more manageable Pearl Jam sounding band that would play ball with Ticketmaster so that sheep would spend their hard earned money on their crappy music, and then having the radio stations cram Creed down our throats to make them appear more popular than they actually were. Well, they sure did accomplish in either making them popular or at least making them appear to be popular, though none of the real hard core rockers I hung around with had any Creed albums. We all hated them. The only people I knew who had Creed albums were girls and guys with wimpier taste in music.
And history repeats now with Nickelback, another plastic, pseudo-edgy, artificial, Frankenstein-like creation by the music industry suits that really offers nothing new in music that we haven't seen before, yet, they're made to be seen as the second coming of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, and Led Zepellin combined. :2 cents:
Okay, rant's over, felt great getting that off my chest.
