I went there. You know what I ended up with? Basically a Dave Gilmore signature, with a humbucker, and a Roger Waters signature. I love the sound of a Fender bass, it really can't be beat. Matched by Music Man, Leo's second company. My problem with them is, they don't have a good selection, if any, for bass humbuckers. Unless you can have one custom shopped for yourself, and that's gonna be expensive. Which takes you over to Music Man, which makes great basses, but I'm not hip to their guitars.

Reasonable me has a Squier Bullett Hardtail Strat, all white.

I will start to create what is known as a "Partscaster", or, the term I prefer, a "Frankenstrat"

There are a gazillion parts to be bought and exchanged, and I will do a new paintjob/art-design myself, too.

Eventually, the Fender Champ 20W will have to go, too, I suppose

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that Lent, is a Catholic tenet. So if I'm right, it's something you typically wouldn't, unless you were raised in that environment, or had friends that where. The only people I know that still observe it are Catholic's, I never gave anything up, but my family wouldn't eat meat on Friday, and sometimes Wednesday. I have a friend that gives up weed for Lent, but still chows down the pig and cow.
