Sweat it out. Take a very hot steamy shower, blow out as much snot as you can. Get out and put on a couple pairs of sweats, get some cold medicine in you, get under the covers, sleep as long as you can, get up and repeat as many times as necessary....usually takes me around 3 cycles, and a couple of days.

I used to drink hot beer, with added honey, in a sleeping bag, under a thick blanket, in a sweater.

I am using the other things, except that damn beer

And sleep sitting up, because otherwise I have an hacking cough all the time, it is better, when I sit up
