However, once Eisenhower was no longer the president... and Kennedy got in, we as a country were, and have been, FUCKED ever since.

Don't believe me? Study the history of the political atmosphere when Kennedy took office, and up to present day.

To be honest with all of you, I doubt our votes mean a damn thing. Our presidents (probably since Kennedy) have been selected, not elected.

Absolutely. Families used to sit (together) in the living room and watch television after supper. It all seemed so innocent back then. Only a half hour of news around 6 PM, and again at 10 PM. Then... off to bed.

Those who believe equal rights acts should be abolished need only look at some of those pictures to understand why those acts have to still stand today. When too many narrow minds rule, basic rights cease to exist.
I still find the shot of Thich Quang Duc to be a remarkable one. A man on fire, yet so serene.
And, finally, I find the shot of Ron and Clint Howard rather interesting. We have all watched both grow up...however, the difference between Clint in that 1963 shot and his 1968 roll in Star Trek...well, though he was still a kid in 1968, he was a very ugly kid.

The photos of George Wallace gives me a slight smirk because of his speeches of racial discord and the irony is it was one of the people he was fighting for (blond hair & blue eyed) was the person who shot and paralyzed him. The nurses who had to take of him afterward were mostly black.

George's attitude did change.
Normally it's the mother's decision on matters of the newborn's care, though the father has some input.The one question I have is if the infant goes into distress, are those instructions still in place?
