£5 Porn Pass from April

Looks like the age of "Big Brother" is fully upon us.

From April this year anyone in the UK wanting to view a porn site is going to be redirected to a site asking them to prove they are over 18. For those not wishing to do so, they can buy a £5 porn pass from their local newsagents.

I'm hoping this site won't get hit with by this dumb as fuck move.


It's only a matter of time before they come up with another slice of the internet that we need "protecting" from and it gets added to the block list.

Chalk up another victory for the dumb shits who buy children smart phones and say they can't police their own children's internet useage.

Unfortunately, anyone that wants to serve porn (or 18 and over services) has to comply with age verification in the UK. It's something we've all been watching for the better part of 2 years now.

First the BBFC will be going after the big dogs to make sure they're compliant. PornHub and all of the Adultforce websites (brazzers, twistys, realitykings, etc). Xvideos, XHampster, etc.

Then it'll be the next line of big sites and I'm afraid that FreeOnes fits in there.

Then they'll probably go after all the little sites.

BUT, remember, it's not just porn. It's anything 18+. So guns, marijuana, online gambling, I believe violent video games and whatnot will also have to be in there. Anything the government deems the special little snowflakes parents should be actually parenting shouldn't "stumble upon".
