I prefer the PS3, most of the games that i'd want to play that are on xbox come out on PC so thats all good for me, and the fact i've always been a Playstation fan. Also you don't have to buy an expensive Wireless adapter to use it on the internet PS3 has it built in and ready to go so i can stream films over from my PC whenever i want.
I like them both for different reasons. I own a 360 but plan on getting a PS3. I like the 360because its cheaper and it has Fable 2. The PS3 is probably built better, though, because I am currently on my 3rd XBox 360. The 1st XBox I got was broke right out of the box...the hard drive didn't work. My 2nd XBox overheated and got the red ring of death. Hopefully I won't have to trade the 3rd one back.

The nicer thing about PS3 is you don't have to pay additional charges to play your games online. If paying to play the games online doesn't bother you, exclusives may. PS3 = Resistance, 360 = Halo. PS3 = GT4, 360 = Forza 2. PS3 = MGS4, but 360 = ...uh... don't know a good exclusive 3PS for 360 actually. You probably get my point anyway. Alot of people say the controller made a big difference in their choice too. I think the 360 controller is far superior in comfortably and in ease of use. Plus when the rechargeable batteries no longer hold a charge, you don't have to buy a whole new controller. Or maybe the blu-ray player might influence your decision to go with a PS3 over 360 even. I actually like the smooth design of the PS3 main menu over that new 360 Live menu too. It really all depends on personal choice. I am personally a 360 fan in the end, but Forza 2 had about 95% to do with that.

Sporty carr, whats the customer service like with the trade in of broken consoles, my PS3 had a slip up on its laser reader and got it replaced two days later, just wondering if microsoft help service doe's something right for once.

Gears of War! Anyway I have a 360 but eventually want to get a PS3 now that Killzone 2 is here and God of War 3 is coming. I'm a gamer not a fanboy and don't subscribe to that line of thinking. I go where the games are.

exactly! :glugglug: I had a PS2 before I got my 360, halo was not a determining factor. Price was between the 360 and PS3. I prefer the exclusives for the 360, but I hate halo. If I get a PS3, it'll be for God of war 3! That game is gonna be gorgeous!
360 For Xbox Live and Way more Exclusives
I'll stick with my PS3. I love XBOX live, but I never get enough time to play online (sadly) so it isn't worth my money; only until I get a vacation from work will I be able to play online; and quite frankly that's the only reason I really love the 360. Not only that, but I've been a PlayStation boy since PS1 came out.

I like the PS3 because you get more the money... wifi, blu ray, free PSN accts etc... I think Xbox has more users so games usually throw a little more support at xbox if its a cross platform game (like COD). I do like the xbox gamer points and avatars. I think the UI of xbox is a little better. PS tried with PShome, but it didn't really make it IMHO
Both have their pros and cons.. I own both but I play the 360 a lot more than the PS3 (which I initially bought solely for MGS4).

Both console are basically the same quality but im a huge xbox live fan and have been playing since it first came out so i prefer box 360
I have both and I really prefer my 360 , it has better exclusive games and most of the time when a game comes out for both systems it's better on the 360. So I like my PS3 a lot but I prefer my 360.
haha I hear this from everyone who likes the PS3 but I actually prefer a 360 controller.. I guess its just what you are used to
