33 Trapped Miners

You have any comments on the miners in Chile trapped from Aug 5 2010?

Great they were saved, however, I can't fuckin wait for all the praise god is going to get for saving them and not the American engineers. Next, they'll be seeing images of god in the rocks of the cave! For fuck'

I'm glad they all got out safe. I feel bad for the wives and girlfriends though. IT's going to be a long ass night for them chicks.

I was sort of hoping for a cave-in. :(

I hate happy endings. So clichéd.

I've heard that Tea Baggers are preparing to send a bill to Chile and want all their national celebrities, i.e. Palin, Rubio, Paul, etc to sign it.

Those complete, utter assholes....

Who do you blame if you fart then?

I nominate this for the feel good story of the year, sort of what happened here in the U.S. with the "Miracle on the Hudson" story

I am glad to see they all made it out safely. Kudos to the miners for their faith, resilience and steadfastness under horrendous conditions and to all those who participated in rescuing them.

lol.

Although, a true funny story I read in the paper here in Australia, not sure if it was mentioned in another thread, but apparently a few months back when the mine first collapsed, one of the miners got caught in a bit of a sticky situation.

The miner Yoni Barrios's wife and mistress met when his wife heared another woman, the mistress, calling his name during a vigil at the mine. Apparently the miner had 3 people he could request to meet him upon the rescue, he wanted both his wife and mistress to come, but reportedly the mistress didn't even watch the rescue on TV.

Heres one of the articles on the issue:

Can't you feel good about this?
