30 Billion Dollars

What would you do if you woke up tomorrow morning with 30 billion dollars tax free? That's enough to spend one million dollars a day for over 80 years.
Honestly I have a hard time deciding how to spend 100 dollars, I would probably go nuts with 30 billion, but the best thing I can think of would be a small tropical country with a clothing optional law.

Yeah, I think I would do something similar. I'd start up my own small country and go from there. That is of course after I have done just a little splurging and bought myself one very nice car and spent about a couple of months nailing broads on different continents. I'd also dedicate a large chunk of that money to cementing my legacy in the world by starting up a few organizations or by "giving back" to society so to speak.

It's hard to imagine what to do with all that money really. Once you become super rich you get to the point to were you are just giving it away by the boat load. I read somewhere that Bill Gates gives up about 57% of his annual earnings.

That's enough to buy a NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL teams, a race track, movie studio, TV network, and all of the porn industry! ;)

Buy a Diamond Coke. It's like regular Coke, but it has diamonds floating in it.

I'd buy my momma a car and spend the rest on PCP.

Arrange Hugh Hefner’s assassination, buy the playboy mansion, magazine and live his life.

Has anyone ever thought looking at glimpses of Hugh Hefner’s life for the last 20 years; that he must have sold his soul to the devil when he was young to get everything in life. How else can you explain that shit?

Nothing. I'd give most of it away. What would I do with it any way?

I couldn't buy Kimmy with it so what do I want with it? I'd keep enough for me to be happy and find something to do with the rest as in giving it away. Of course I would keep some back for future happenings. I'd keep at least 5 billion somewhere. Live my life contently.

I'd either...

A) Buy an island and live the rest of my life there with my girl.

or

B) End up overdosing on drugs and alcohol and dieing on an island I purchased with my girl.

I would put a lot in savings, some in investing, the rest in travelling the world showing it off to women and they can love me, albeit pretend love, but it is love.

Considering that with so much cash available you can do pretty much everything you want, I think it would have been easier to ask "What will you not do, even with $30bn?"

That's why I would give most of it away because I know I would buy alcohol like crazy for the most part. I think.... can't take risks. :o

You're probably right. I think that much money would ruin more lives than it helped.

I'm under the belief that when you have more money than you know what to do with you start doing stupid things and end up in trouble one way or the other.

Just take a look at celebrities and sports players. They always screwing themselves up financially, personally, emotionally once they start making a shit load of money.

In the end whether you are poor or rich, how you treat your money, being poor or rich, you will act the same when you have a lot of it. So if you waste it when you have none of it you will waste it when you have a lot of it; if you are frugal when you have none of it you will be frugal when you have a lot of it.

i would do whatever i felt like doing...which is really no different than what i do now, instead i would feel like doing things that cost a fair bit more money...i already have love, so basically i'd enjoy not having to worry about being broke ever
