30 Best Guitar Rifs Of All Time.

I'm surprised Seven Nation Army was on there. I was going to jump the gun and complain about it's omission before even watching the video.

Also, GTFO here with G'n'R at #1. There's 25 riffs better than that annoying ass lick on that list alone. No Crazy Train? Paranoid? Back In Black? Sweet Emotion? Only one song from the human riff? No Slayer? No Maiden?

There's some memorable riffs on here, but I wouldn't call them the greatest.

I completely disagree with you on that one. I was glad to see Sweet Child 'O Mine at the #1 spot. I will say that I don't think Welcome to the Jungle should be in the Top 30, but SCOM still amazes me whenever I hear it.

I agree with you on Chuck Berry.

Another one that should be up there is Up Around the Bend, by CCR.

There are some really stupid examples in the OP video. "Eye Of The Tiger" in particular.

The greatest guitar rifs are usually executed by Angus or Malcolm Young, Eddie Van Halen, Joe Perry, or Billy Gibbons. Although you have to add to the list Hendix, Page, Townsend, etc.

It's a question that can never be answered. "La Grange" is pretty close to a perfect rif, if such a thing existed.
