Well shit, if South Carolina doesn't basically fall asleep the last 2 minutes of the first half and the first 2 minutes of the second half they probably advance. Hell of comeback being down 14 then going on a 16 to zip run. Oh well, no biggie. I'm just as glad to see the small west coast school get in.

That offensive rebounding edge came in handy at the right time. I just knew Oregon were going to take the ball down the court and pop a three for the win.

Monday should be a good game. I saw where Carolina were 2 point favorites. I don't believe it.

Gonzaga are playing as a more cohesive team right now.

The Joel Barry ankle thing is hurting us.

One advantage the Heels have is experience. Especially since they were in the championship game last year.

They're gonna need it.

I made a couple of bucks on the game, so I'm good with the outcome too.

But god it was played at the speed of molasses. I guess the refs were really determined to get their 40 minutes of fame...or more like infamy

Yeah, the officiating made it a painful game to watch. I try not to complain about officials win or lose but they just didn't allow the game to flow.

Both teams got screwed by calls.

I may take off a half a day and shoot up to Chapel Hill this afternoon.

On a side note, Roy Williams was non-commital when asked if they would go to the White House.

I doubt they will. In 2005 they cited"scheduling conflicts" as the reason not to go when GWB invited them.

They couldn't wait to go in 2009 with Obama.

I love my school but I have to tune out the political overtones out of there sometimes.

I don't think players should be denied being honored by the president at the White House no matter who is president. That is a memory you take with you the rest of your life.

Anyway, glad they won.
