Reddick got a hit in his first AB. Maybe he got himself a slump-buster.

Dodgers = Good

They are. No weaknesses.

The Stros need to man up and start hitting. I'll give 'em a pass on Kershaw (he was almost unhittable last night....dude is GOOD) but when it's Verlander against Hill you'd have to believe this is not only winnable for Houston but it is a MUST win to have any chance in this series. If they lose with their ace pitching, they could be toast. Hitters need to relax, take a few pitches and quit lunging at everything. Kershaw made some of them look silly last night.

Hoping for a 'Stros series win, and don't want to see them swept again.

It looks like the Astros are going back to Houston 0-2. Corey Seager just hit a 2-run home run off Justin Verlander.

Edit: The LAD bullpen is collapsing. LOL - Morrow gives up a run, Jansen gives up a home run to Marwin Gonzalez, now Fields gives up two home runs. One to Jose Altuve and the other to Carlos Correa.

Congrats on tonight’s game. It was a crushing loss for the Dodgers. If purely for entertainment purposes it sure was good. Back again on Friday in Houston.

It's why baseball is and shall ever remain my favorite sport. High drama. This is going to be a terrific series.

Thanks amigo but I am not really an Astros fan (diehard Cardinal fan although I will admit to being a bit of a bandwagoner right now since I live in Houston) so this series will be a relaxed baseball delight for me since I really don't have a horse in this race. I too am enjoying the terrific action....two great teams just going at it like a heavyweight title fight. More on Friday back at the Juice Box. Mid-level seats going for $2K plus. Think I'll watch on TV instead.

Roberts over-managed last night. Bregman having a heck of a series. Can keep Altuve down only so long. Dodgers will be back at Chavez Ravine, this is going at least 6.

Joe Girardi is gone. His contract has expired and the New York Yankees will not have him back as manager for next season. This story should be on the back pages of all the New York newspapers for the next few days..

Additonally, John Farrell is gone. Dusty Baker is gone. Joe Maddon's coaching staff has been purged. I guess making the playoffs isn't good enough.

A true Yankee hater but Joe Giradi shouldn't had been let go. Averaging 91 wins a year and getting young and injured into the playoffs most of his years? The upper ups say they want to go in another direction.

Did I forget my Mets? Harvey is the first to go for futures. The rest of the starters, only the doctors know for sure. Add a year to the rest of the roster. .500 would be banner year. See me in 2019.

What a horrible time for Darvish to have nothing. I mean he was just throwing batting practice.
And he'd been so sharp his previous five games.

As I understand it, Rich Hill maybe be used in relief tonight :wtf: He didn't throw his usual between starts bullpen session.
It's looking to me like Robert's (mis)use of Hill could end up being the key to this series.

Well. tied at 2 so I would say that whoever wins tonight is a serious bet to win it all. Kershaw is more than likely to be on again tonight but the Astros have more than a puncher's chance with Keuchel going for them so it should be a good one. Really enjoying the drama in this so far....great action by two really good teams.

Too bad Gurriel had to be such a childish idiot.
imo he should have been suspended a game during the series.
I really didn't particularly have a dog in this fight, but thanks to that incident I'm hoping Gurriel loses.

PS: I have NO idea why Roberts used Jansen last night in the ninth inning with a 6 to 1 lead :wtf:

Could see that coming back to haunt him tonight.

Watching the Astros in the 1st reminded me of that inning against the Royals a few years back. Little mistakes adding up to a lot.

WOW.....this series is turning into a classic! Just crazy action! My God what a war of attrition last night....like watching Ali & Frazier trade punches until both are bruised and battered. LA definitely has the better bullpen but, at this stage, I'm not sure it matters a whole lot. Both pens are burned out. Everyone (except Ken Giles, that is) has pitched their hearts out. The Stros definitely are in the driver's seat heading back to LA but, in this crazy series, anything could happen. I am really looking forward to game 6....this is baseball competition at its finest folks.
