*2016 US Presidential Elections* - Candidates, Statistics, Campaign Timelines, Debates

Bush's campaign has been à joke since the beginning. He had more money than every other gop candidate but he has never been the front-runner most people thought hé would be.
Has Trump would say : "loser !"

Watching re Trump's S. Carolina victory speech. Melania Trump would be the hottest first lady ever in the world. Great day in the morning.

Trump 2016

I thought you were à Rubio supporter...

And, actually, the hottest first lady in the world is Queen Rania of Jordan. Melania Trump ? Not even close !

I find it interesting that on the republican side, we have two guys from Florida (Carson and Rubio). And if it coms to the final candidacy, it might very well become a pesidential rac of two New York candidates (Clinton vs. Trump). Very fittingly both highly establishment candidates, even if Trump runs on a platform that appears (for the time being?) extremely anti-establishment. It still has to show how truthful he is after all of this. And we still have to see how the FBI examination plays out in the long run, and if that will make democratic voters shy away from the possible outcome of having a winning candidate that gets sentenced and theferefor would be unfit to do the job.

Technically, she is not First Lady. An impossibility in a Muslim country.

ETA: Just looked at side by side comparisons of Rania and Melania. Melania gets the cock. Rania gets a razor.

A muslim country in which women are allowed to (ando actually do) were skirts, pants, high heels, no headscarves, even some little cleavage on occasion, in which a woman is voicing against ISIS on western europeans and american medias and charities, in which the "first lady" is on Youtube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, and happened to work for Citibank and Apple is not to be referred to as countries such as Saudi Arabia, in which women aren't even allowed to drive.

Please remember you are discussing this with a honky lawyer from South Carolina. His world view is, I repeat this video for educational purposes, like this:

North Carolina genius. Not Mouth Carolina.

I don't hang out in honky tonks. I prefer jazz clubs and strip joints.

Ever heard of Research Triangle Park? Google it. We are so back woods that we can stake claim to some of the best universities in the world.

I have actually visited Jordan. I bet you two Eurotards haven't ever ventured outside of your own countries if it entailed more than 30 minutes bus travel.

The guy smoking while comrade Sanders is arrested is my new spirit animal.

Bernie Sanders is like the text book definition of a loser. Seriously the guy has failed at life in almost every way possible. Finances, employment, this election, honeymoons, any measure being an adult, decades of career politicking with nothing to show for it. You name it, Bernie has done it at best mediocre and most often very poorly. I challenge any Bernie supporter to give me one area where he is not a complete screwup (aside from his ability to get elected in the people's republic of Vermont).

Thank you for summarizing nicely how backwards and cro-magnon a voter is who in spite of the massively anti-middle class and much more, anti-small income is a sucker for the masters who have and keep on rig the country against his core best interest.

I pity the foo.

Somebody needs to tell Bernie that the system is rigged. Starting with the DNC nomination process.

He knows that. And that is the reason he entered that race : to set things straight.

The DNC runs for Hillary. They perfectly know what Bernie is fighting for, what he's trying to achiev, what he would do (or at least try to do) if he's elected and they dojn't want that to happen. They know that the system is rigged but they profit about it so they surely don't want anyone to set things straight.

The Republican primaries are more democratic than the Democrats.

for the people.

This coming Tuesday is Super Tuesday were about 1/4 of the total delegates are picked in both parties. And things could be over in both parties by then. Trump is beginning to break through 40% in most poles and it doesn't look like Rubio or Cruz could pull in enough support if the choices were down to only 2 candidates. Over on the Democratic side Sanders needs a couple of wins, close seconds (52/48) isn't good enough because after Super Tuesday they get to the winner take all states.

In 2008, some super-delegated that "should" have voted for Hillary changed their mind and voted for Obama. That thing can happen again. But I do agree, the whole super-delegate thing is anti-democratic

I believe it's only 15% of the delegates. I really don't have a problem with every US Senator, Congressman, Governor, state Rep, major city Major, country supervisor, etc in the party having a vote at the Natl Convention. and there is a couple of days worth of Party business that needs to be decided before voting on their Presidential Candidate. (I've watched it although it hasn't been as entertaining as 1968 Democratic Convention in Chicago.)

It was just announced that Rick Perry's criminal charges of corruption while Governor of Texas have been dropped. So I guess he can start running for President again?

I've been out of the loop here for a while so please allow me to ask some questions that may have been addressed already (23 pages? I ain't doing that much searching).

Bernie Sanders wants to give the first 2 years of college free to everyone. $75 billion per year from Wall St. speculators pays for this. It smells like snake oil. I would like to see some cost estimates. There are two things to consider, the costs of those annual enrollees not being paid for anymore by the students and the cost of the anticipated increase in college enrollees. Does this $75B include more professors, housing, books, bigger schools?

And who qualifies for this free college? Anyone with a high school diploma? Take a qualifying test? Anyone below a certain income alone? Does it include people that have been in the workforce after high school and are looking to get 2 years of college to change or further their careers?
