2014 Corvette Stingray

I like how the drivers side looks like a cockpit while the passenger side is a lot more basic. Sic car. I'll probably own one.

Straight Dope!

Front is still too much Corvette and the back is overkill (can you say Transformers).

Sorry but I pass.

Works for panties
It's an ugly car, from which I see late-model (and ugly) Ferraris from the front and in the back two-thirds, Mercedes SLS in the front third from the side, and the taillights from a late-model Camaro with stupidly over bright tailpipes, that together remind me of some skull logo from something. The interior looks like two different cars, aside from the color, with the center and driver's side one car, and the passenger side another. The C6 had that stupid smile and stationary headlights, and now they've gone and given it braces and a bigger mouth with angry eyes. It looks like it's mad it's showing you its braces, and went and got a skull tattoo on its backside.

Gimme a C5 Z06 any day.

Now that's a Corvette.

I am a failure to the Korean side of my family
Wait til the 2016 Vega hits the market all I got to say is....ooooh barracuda or something akin to excitement.

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
Not my style...I would take the cash prize in a raffle. Personally, I don't think they've made a good looking Vette since '67.

In this view, I think it looks astonishing. The new front, and particularly the heavily contoured hood have a sleek aggressiveness lacking since the 60s/70s Stingrays (though perhaps a bit too much Ferrari 599GTB in the recipe). I'm on the fence about the side sculpting, but it's not bad by any means.

I loathe the rear and am grateful that it's not visible in this shot (far too much Camaro in the blood now). If the rear were always blocked by the rears of astonishingly beautiful women, that would make up for it... at least while it was parked.

Racing is life... anything else is just waiting.
I've never owned a Corvette. But if I was shopping for a (pure) sports car, I'd certainly put this car at the top of the list. The only styling cue that I don't like is the Camaroesque taillight design. As far as the mechanicals and specs, this is easily going to be the best Corvette ever. GM finally got the Vette more toward being a real sports car with the C5. The C6 was even better. And this one pretty well knocks the cover off the ball and could probably compete on the track with any sports car that costs twice as much. For the money, I don't know that a person could buy a better all-around sports car that could walk the walk and talk the talk the way this thing will.

I think Got Gisele should buy one. She should celebrate her new site by buying a new Vette... and then posing with it. :)

The appeal of the Corvette is simply that, as far as power and handling go, it's about the most affordable out their. They have high, to moderately high priced versions, but for the price, you get a pretty bang for the buck. The new Viper comes in at around 100k, I think, and that's the higher end of a Vette, and unless you wanna drop double or triple that, you're not getting a new Ferrari.

Good looking car but I'll stick with my blown 2008 Mustang Cobra! I know mustang and cobra don't go together but mine is nothing stock except the block.
