i dont see how you could beat elvis this year? they can kick 3 from anywhere on the field it appeared lol

With 8 bowl games in the book we have a 4-way tie for first. Wonder how things will look after the Christmas eve bowl games are done.

That really was a war......they even threw in a post game brawl for good measure!

Can someone tell me what the hell happened. Last I saw Western Kentucky was up 49 to 14 so I went to spend a little time with some family and next thing I saw the game ended at 49 to 48.

And here are the current standings

1. bodie54, dakdak and Jagger69 with 6 correct

2. TheAdmiral with 5 correct

3. Ace Boobtoucher, feller469, RodgerBama and smoknn with 4 correct

4. bobjustbob with 3 correct

SD State misses a 34 yard field goal at the buzzer to lose by a point  Damn, that one really hurt :brick:

I turned it off too! All I can tell you is Central Michigan scored 34 unanswered points in the 4th quarter and, after their last TD, decided to go for the win with a 2 point conversion attempt that failed.

what in the actual fuck?

omg that's awesome :1orglaugh

Not quite on the level of the 1982 Cal vs Stanford kick return TD that won the game - and took out a member of the Stanford band :1orglaugh ........but close!

Kind of a shame Central Michgan didn't get the win after that. I can see why coach went for the two point conversion, though. His team had all the momentum and he probably figured Western Kentucky would still be in a state of shock :1orglaugh

i disagree bodie. i started doing something else when W Kentucky scored 49 points. had i been that other coach after my team battled its way back in that. they may have won...but they would have beat me in overtime. and one more thing bodie...what is the deal with so many teams wearing oregon helmets? you know you got a good team when they dressing like you...or tearing the goal post down every time you lose lol

Yeah I can see that side of it too. But I can understand why CM's coach went for the deuce. They really did have WK on the ropes. You go to overtime and maybe you lose that shock value/momentum. But yeah if it was me, like you I probably would have kicked for the tie.

So tomorrow we've got
Illinois vs Louisiana Tech
Rutgers vs North Carolina
NC State vs UCF
I had very little clue in any of these games. Illinois is one of those teams that every time I pick them they loose, and whenever I don't they win. So they should win lol I almost picked Bob's Rutgers team and have a feeling I'm going to regret having not.

strange you would say that about illinois.....rutgers is the team that hates me. i think if i bet they would show up....they would stay at home. i took NC tomorrow so you probably right bodie. chalk one up for magoo (as bob calls them)

A sweep gets me 1 gain on 2 of you guys and 2 on the rest. 2 out of 3 does very little for me. I like Magoo in this situation because NC has gone through scholarship sanctions. Makes them weak in my opinion. Rutgers covers the spreads and overs better and have faced much tougher in their losses. NC only faced 2 ranked teams, maybe 3 when they played the Irish before their collapse.

Yea, big fucking talk from the guy that's 3 of 10. I wish I could cry about that C Mich loss but doing so would be useless. Half of you other guys get burnt either way. Overall I like the idea of a coach looking to end a game with the ball in their possession. 1 play 2 yards. Muscle up guys. I ain't for giving the ball back for their opponent's chance to win.

we can argue till next year about go for 2 or kick the 1 and tie it up. but all in all....that 2 point conversion try....Marshall with a coach named doc holiday and Memphis kicking the 75 yd f/g. has been the highlight so far for me.

Do the Tar Heels get to 60 today? There are days that offense can't be stopped. Then there are days it can't perform and snap correctly. Of course, the Tar Heel defense is as consistent as a Mel Tillis speech.

UNC is the ultimate Jeckyll-Hyde team. They look awful today. I should have known better than to expect anything from them. They continue to be the most disappointing university in the country when it comes to athletics. The expectations and attitudes far exceed the capabilities.

Bodie, you suck donkey dick. After tonight we are matched for 10 of the next 11 games. Only difference is my Louisville the 7 point dog to your Georgia. Let's hold hands a skip along till Tuesday night.
