Let me go on record that I think Romney will win this first debate. Obama might be a little rusty since its been a while since he last debated. Romney has been doing this for over a year now and usually the first debate always helps the challenger in the polls

Obama was off his game. Obama's last debate was four years ago while Romney's was less than a year ago and this showed. Romney was in control the whole time and he didnt let Lehrer control the debate and Obama fucked up by letting Romney get the upper hand

If debates actually had an effect on how Americans vote, that would have swayed a few people towards Romney's ticket. He didn't get a knockout punch, but he definitely controlled that debate.
Neither one of them "blew it" tonight. I do think Romney had a better showing, but I admit part of that is because I'm a republican. Even so, I believe Romney did a better job. He seemed very knowledgeable, and was able to present his opinions and facts in a calm, effective way.
Obama did a decent job, but I don't think he looked as "presidential" as Romney did throughout the debate.
