In case no one noticed - and judging by the lack of available highlights on national television, you haven't - SDSU took down UCLA 78-69 in the John R. Wooden Classic at the Honda center in Anaheim this past Saturday night. Even though UCLA fell from the rankings after a tough loss to Georgetown and an embarrassing loss to Cal Poly at Pauley Pavilion, it was a big win for my Aztecs, who have now won 11 in a row against current Pac-12 teams and 26 in a row against California colleges, and have moved up to #17/#15 in the national rankings.
