Didn't see a thread for this, so I decided to start one. We're in Day 2 with mostly Euros up and down the Leaderboard. A few Americans are hanging around here in Day 2. The number will probably grow smaller and smaller after each round. Unless McIlroy has a collapse along with these long ball playing Spaniards that are dominating the action....most of the American competition has faded way beyond the leaders and really have no chance to make a comback.
What is most fascinating is this might turn out to be the epoch moment when Tiger Woods' career ended. He is presently fighting his hardest just to make the cut
 It's shocking to see him scowl around and make these big swings and fist pumps on par putts JUST TO MAKE THE CUT :surprise: It's like a race between McIllroy to make another birdie to keep Tiger out of the tourney and Tiger trying to make a birdie just to stay in the tourney....wow. Never thought I'd see this for Tiger who is still in his golfing prime.
Truly, the world of Golf has passed him by.
I can't say that the future of the PGA is in great hands with these 20 somethings who dress like fucking douchebags who spent the previous night out at a strip club.
Can Fred Couples and Ricky Barnes hang in there to make a charge?
Will European domination of the golfing majors continue?
Will we all get sick of folk guitar music and hearing talk of azaleas and dogwoods
