A&M, Colorado, the Kansases...all  and easy Ws for Boise.

Well, K-State might give them some problems but otherwise I would totally agree with this. Except for Texas Tech (you forgot them), these are the only "gimmes" for BSU against the Big 12.

No. I'm pulling a Boise beatdown card here because Boise beat TCU and TCU put a beatdown on Baylor...

OK. So....Kentucky is better than Alabama since UK beat South Carolina and South Carolina beat Alabama, right? Sorry, t-rock. Not falling for that bullshit argument.

Only your Sooners are "for real" in the Big 12. Everyone else...:yesyes: A win means a win, not a 60 pt blowout win.

 You really are bitter about all this, aren't you? :1orglaugh

Ok, I gotta jump in here. Me and titsrock aren't exactly on the same page usually, but I gotta jump in his corner (though I disagree with him on ranking them ahead of teams based on what happened last year).

The Big-12 is clearly a lot tougher than the Pac-10 this year. :yesyes:

Lol......

Lol.

I also have to chuckle when I see OU at #8 and Mizzou drops to #12. It just reinforces the belief that it is so much better to lose earlier in the year rather than later. That's one reason I believe that Alabama can still claw their way back into the national title picture if they beat both LSU and Auburn (huge BCS gains for these) and then take the SEC championship. BSU's chances are apparently gone (sorry t-rock but we all saw this coming). The big question is....can the TCU/Utah winner hang on to their position ahead of Alabama? :dunno:

As I've explained earlier, losing to a team on the road in a non-blowout shouldn't automatically slide you behind them. So I have no problem with OU ahead of your Tigers.

Btw Boise State really, really needs Utah to best TCU. And even then there's no guarantee Utah wouldn't jump them.

yumi yumi yumi...this is worth a repost (sorry)..lets go through this again...they gave up 20 points on la tech....they were in the red zone 3 times and came away with nothing..they gave boise 2 scores with fumbled kick offs...now lets do the math..add 3 field goals for the 3 trips to the red zone..take away the 2 fumbled kickoffs they were given...it dont look like the same game...if you play like that on a team thats not a creampuff..you lose..and its ashame oregon couldnt have played usc when pete was running things and reggie bush was there...oregon boise my ass ..its just a matter of time

Okay, Boise had a bad game. Just like Alabama did against South Carolina (who isn't really all that great, as my Gators will show the world). And Auburn has had about 4 times. And Oregon had against ASU (who outplayed UO in that game). But great teams win anyway.

And why are we complaining about Boise State's defense?? Did everyone forget that Oregon and Auburn's defenses suck??

I think OU, Nebraska, Mizzou and Oklahoma State could all give Boise a run for their money (hell, they hardly beat Louisiana Tech!). I also think South Carolina would have a good chance of beating the Broncs. They never play anyone so the shame is....we'll never know.

Missouri and OK State and Nebraska would lose by a couple touchdowns at least. OU would have a legit shot, assuming their defense shows up. And South Carolina is overrated. We're all gonna eventually realizes that the Bama win was a much bigger upset than we have yet to realize. And did anyone actually see the score of the La Tech game?? Sure they gave up yards (for once). But they won by 29.

I forgot Baylor for a minute. Robert Griffin would give BSU fits. Thanks Will. :glugglug:

Yeah. The same way they showed up against TCU.

.......and btw I dislike Boise State.

all of you guys all putting boise and tcu up in the clouds as if they have already eat their bag of creampuffs...im not so sure a cream puff is not going to get in there and beat boise or tcu s ass..i admit..tcu i havnt seen much of..but i seen boise everytime they was on tv...and they have got holes..a good sound team is going to play them...and i dont have time for no handjobs,,,im werkin on lawnmors...o scooter wont do nothing...he was trying to crank it with no gas in it..umm huh...boise better bring it when they play hawaii..if they blink their eyes..they may be 21 points down in the first qtr

That's exactly what Missouri did in Lincoln....so, what is your argument? :dunno: Besides, I'm not lobbying to upgrade Mizzou....I'm simply saying that it is so typical of the polls to penalize a team more for a loss later in the season than earlier.

Missouri and OK State and Nebraska would lose by a couple touchdowns at least.

You don't know that, Yumi. If you did, you wouldn't be wasting your time here....you'd be making a fortune at some sports book in Vegas.

.......and btw I dislike Boise State.

I don't dislike them at all. I just feel like a team that never truly gets tested during the season is an unknown quantity at best and way overrated at worst. Not their fault....it's the system.

So you're telling me Boise can go through the Big-12(Oklahoma, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Missouri, Texas, and Baylor) and stay undefeated? And also beat "cupcake" teams like Texas Tech, Texas A&M, and Kansas State?

Lets keep it real Texas Tech,Texas A&Mand Kansas State can hold there on as well. Now Colorado and Kansas two wins you can bank on.

I don't have an argument here, my point is it can go either way when you lose to a team on the road. I'm saying it shouldn't be manadatory to stick a team behind another they lost to on the road. So I have no problem with people ordering Missouri, Oklahoma, and Nebraska in whatever order they please. Now if one of them had beaten another on the road, I'd be inclined to stick that team ahead of the other two. And since OU beating Cincy and FSU is more impressive than Missouri beating San Diego State and Nebraska beating Washington, I'd rank OU ahead of the other two. I agree losing earlier is definitely better in the voters eyes (not mine), but there are other factors too. Schedule (OU has played a tougher schedule IMO) and something that does happen (especially in the coaches poll) but no one admits is favoring bigger name schools. That's why Texas was somehow still ranked after losing to UCLA, and my Florida Gators are actually 27th in the stupid Harris poll.

alabama got beat by a damn good team..didnt no creampuff come in and run up 20 points on bama..if boise had to play florida and mallet back to back weeks...i bet they would look like a scab on a goat pussy the 3rd week.. SKY i hope your wrong..i have already seen that in my mind..Pa-lease tell me we dont havta here boise and tcu cry all next year..to be honest..this has been a long time coming..i want boise and tcu to get to play a top 5 team that is (if they go unfeated??hawaii/nevada? utah?)..this year..its put up or shutup for both..imo..they cant play with the top rank teams...if they do..i wanna be first to say i was wrong..all teams that finish in the top ten at the end of the year is going to buy a high price ticket..they are going to well earned their way:wave:

In a way I hope i'm wrong.Okay here is the thing we all know if Alabama wins out they in the National Champion okay no big deal they would play Oregon cause I just don't see them taking a loss.I would be stunned if they lost to Cal anyway here is the thing Stanford could win out as well but what would they get with an 11-1 record nothing but the Hoilday Bowl if Boise State,TCU,or Utah wins out they will be going to the Rose Bowl well that was said by Colin Cowheard on his show today I don't know if anyone else heard it :dunno:great year Stanford but no roses

That's a good point, though I consider the Holiday Bowl a prestigious bowl (it just loses some luster cuz it's not on New Year's Day....but I believe the payout is comparable to the Citrus Bowl (whatever the fuck it's called now), Peach Bowl (ditto), etc. I think Stanford would definitely deserve a BCS bowl if they win out, but you can't blame them not doing so on TCU, Utah, or Boise State taking a spot. Blame it on the Big East and ACC getting a spot. Stanford and either a 1-loss Big Ten or 1-loss SEC team will be fucked over cuz Florida St/Va Tech and Pittsburgh/Syracuse/Other shit team are in the BCS. This is why instead of giving those 6 conference champions automatic bids, they should give the TOP SIX conference champions an automatic bid, regardless of conference affiliation.

OK everyone. Here are this week's picks. The lucky winner gets a triple-scoop ice cream cone (any flavor!) from Baskin-Robbins that I will personally UPS to them from Texas. Please allow a minimum of 5-7 working days for delivery. You know the drill so here we go:

Illinois at Michigan (Illini's luck runs out this week in Ann Arbor)
Maryland at Miami (FL) (With Shannon's ass on the hot seat, 'Canes play to win)
Iowa at Indiana (Hoosiers can't hang with the Hawks)
Minnesota at Michigan St. (The only word for this one is "brutal")
Wisconsin at Purdue (Boilermakers are a MASH unit. Badgers in a rout)
Florida at Vanderbilt (Why is Vanderbilt even IN the SEC?? :dunno:)
NC State at Clemson (Clemson edges the Wolfpack in a close one)
Baylor at Oklahoma St. (I'm beginning to believe. Bears upset the Cowboys)
Alabama at LSU (This will be a dogfight but 'Bama pulls away in the 4th)
Northwestern at Penn St. (Lions and 'Cats? 'Cats lose)
Washington at Oregon (No letdown for the Quack Attack. Ducks roll)
North Carolina at Florida St. (FSU bounces back at home)
Nebraska at Iowa St. (Huskers will not lose again this season....until Big-12 title game :D)
TCU at Utah (Frogs prove that they are the better team)
Navy at East Carolina (Pirates beat Middies at home)
California at Washington St. (Can the Bears win on the road? Yes)
Nevada at Idaho (Wolfpack beat Idaho's other team)
Arkansas at South Carolina (The Ol' Ball Coach blows another one)
Oklahoma at Texas A&M (Aggies get mauled)
Oregon St. at UCLA (Beavers beat Bruins as Neuheisel death watch continues)
Missouri at Texas Tech (Tigers bounce back in Lubbock)
Arizona at Stanford (Cardinal rules)
Texas at Kansas St. (Are you kidding? Texas can't score. 'Cats win )
Tennessee at Memphis (Rocky Toppers prevail)
Arizona St. at USC (Shell-shocked Trojans gut one out at home)

Copy and paste:

Illinois at Michigan
Maryland at Miami (FL)
Iowa at Indiana
Minnesota at Michigan St.
Wisconsin at Purdue
Florida at Vanderbilt
NC State at Clemson
Baylor at Oklahoma St.
Alabama at LSU
Northwestern at Penn St.
Washington at Oregon
North Carolina at Florida St.
Nebraska at Iowa St.
TCU at Utah
Navy at East Carolina
California at Washington St.
Nevada at Idaho
Arkansas at South Carolina
Oklahoma at Texas A&M
Oregon St. at UCLA
Missouri at Texas Tech
Arizona at Stanford
Texas at Kansas St.
Tennessee at Memphis
Arizona St. at USC

Illinois at Michigan (All of a sudden Richie's on the hot seat again)
Maryland at Miami (FL) (I think UMD deserved to be ranked this week)
Iowa at Indiana (Closer than the experts think)
Minnesota at Michigan St. (If MSU were playing another other team in the Big Ten, I'd be worried after last week)
Wisconsin at Purdue (Remember when Purdue started 4-2 and I said they might win 1 game the rest of the way?)
Florida at Vanderbilt (Unfortunately for the 'Dores this ain't basketball.....or the Academic Bowl)
NC State at Clemson (I have no fucking clue, the ACC is so unpredictable I swear)
Baylor at Oklahoma St. (J-Black is back, Okie State takes it late)
Alabama at LSU (Lol it'd be funny if LSU won and all of a sudden were in the BCS Top 5 cuz of their computer ranking, which is already high)
Northwestern at Penn St.
Washington at Oregon
North Carolina at Florida St. (Again, the ACC.....)
Nebraska at Iowa St. (Could be close if ISU wins the turnover battle)
TCU at Utah (If Utah wins, they'll probably jump Boise in the BCS)
Navy at East Carolina (How the hell did Navy lose to Duke after beating Notre Dame?)
California at Washington St. (Wazzu is much improved, Cal can't win [or avoid getting annihilated] on the road)
Nevada at Idaho (Winning in Moscow isn't as easy as you think)
Arkansas at South Carolina (What exactly is the East's record against the West?)
Oklahoma at Texas A&M (Don't these two usually play good, close games?)
Oregon St. at UCLA (If UCLA wants to go bowling, they MUST win this one)
Missouri at Texas Tech (I'm not sure TTU is all that good.....didn't Texas handle them in Lubbock)
Arizona at Stanford (Huge muthafucking game)
Texas at Kansas St. (If Johnathan Franklin and Derrick Coleman can beatdown the Texas rush defense, I wanna see what Daniel Thomas can do)
Tennessee at Memphis (These teams are terrible, why are we picking this game lol)
Arizona St. at USC (USC stole last year's game out here. The Sun Devils usually give USC a run for their money)

Also, I got Boise State beating down arguably the 2nd best team in the WAC, the Rainbow boys.

And Fresno State eeking one out in Ruston against their rivals, the other Bulldogs

Cash sought for Cam Newton

Should we be surprised---sad--angry? Same ol dirty SEC....:nono: (says the trojan whose team is on proby)

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5765214

Saying the entire conference is "dirty" is a bit of a stretch... heck, even when Bama got probation, it was a booster that paid a HS coach.

Not sure if this is going to be a smoking gun for AU, but it doesn't look good right now... if the Camburgler is ruled ineligible, they will get hammered USC style.:horse:

The Dirky prediction:

Illinois at Michigan (Sorry Illini - you ain't got the stuff.)
Maryland at Miami (FL) (No question)
Iowa at Indiana (No question)

Florida at Vanderbilt (What? Vanderbilt?)
NC State at Clemson (This will be close, but I think Clemson loses here)
Baylor at Oklahoma St. (I think they're better than we all thought)
Alabama at LSU (I'd love LSU to win, but I don't think they can stop them...)
Northwestern at Penn St.
Washington at Oregon (Washington is broken)
North Carolina at Florida St. (If it were in N.C., I'd vote otherwise)
Nebraska at Iowa St. (building steam off last week's win...)
TCU at Utah (They are better, this week will make everyone believe)
Navy at East Carolina (I think the run will bring this game home for the midshipmen)
California at Washington St. (Yup, on the road)
Nevada at Idaho (Who knows? This is a total guess)
Arkansas at South Carolina ('Cause they're better)
Oklahoma at Texas A&M (Not even close)

Oregon St. at UCLA (Start typing that resy Weazel )
Missouri at Texas Tech (TTech stinks.)
Arizona at Stanford (Big win for the nerds)
Texas at Kansas St. (Texas has given up on the season...)
Tennessee at Memphis (The stinky Vols are due for a W)
Arizona St. at USC (Mighty SC puts the Scum Devils to the sword...)

Illinois at Michigan
Maryland at Miami (FL) (Miami loses again:facepalm:)
Iowa at Indiana (Best team in the Big 10 IMO)
Minnesota at Michigan St.
Wisconsin at Purdue
Florida at Vanderbilt
NC State at Clemson (I'll take home team)

(Why is Vanderbilt even IN the SEC?? :dunno:)

I've been wondering that my whole life :dunno:

(Beavers beat Bruins as Neuheisel death watch continues)

It's just too bad that game is in Boise, for that it'll be ugly......if it were in Hawaii I think Hawaii could hang with Boise.......though UH has improved on the road this season, they laid down a beating in Fresno.
