Oklahoma had a bye, because of that I highly doubt they or anyone behind them move ahead of the defeating champions, even with a lose.

Hmm, if the Scum Devils hold on to beat UDub than I had a nice weekend picking games....only The U and Florida let me down this week ;) :nanner:

We might have 5 undefeateds this season and total chaos for the BCS Champ...Oregon, Ohio State, Boise State, Nebraska, TCU all have realistic chances of running the table.

My Top 10

1. Oregon
2. Ohio State (The U getting pounded tarnishes Ohio State at the moment)
3. Boise State
4. Nebraska
5. Auburn
5.TCU
7. LSU
8. Utah
9. South Carolina
10. Bama

Hmm...I forgot about Okie.

I put Okie at #8 and that means those other teams slide down 1. So, Bama has fallen out of the Top 10 right now.

:glugglug: Skyraider State just went into SoBe and smacked the Canes around  I had the game on my laptop and it looked like FSU just laid the wood to the Canes all game long.

Yeah congratulations to Skyraider
I can't for the life of me figure your team out :dunno: ..... to say they're schizophrenic would be putting it mildly :1orglaugh ... but they played huge today.

My Top 10

Ohio State
Oregon
Boise State
Oklahoma
Nebraska
TCU
South Carolina
Alabama
Utah
LSU

The Bucks struggled with Illinois, but Oregon struggled with Washington State. OSU won the most recent game between the two. SC beat 'Bama by stopping the run and testing their DBs. Some other SEC teams oughtta figure this out too. Boise State got hosed last week, and will be paid back this week. Look out for Boomer, but I don't have the greatest faith in TCU. Sparty is still due its midseason choke, and Nebraska and LSU can both stake claims. Utah? They will beat TCU.

Nobody picked the Purdue vs. Northwestern game?

Hey, a few days ago I said they had a legitimate shot at winning this one! Ands turns out I was right...

How far should Alabama fall in the polls?

I still got 'em top 10. And jsyk I have a general rule, head-to-head doesn't guarantee an advantage when you beat the other team AT HOME.

Anyway, my top 10....

1 Ohio State
2 Oregon
3 TCU
4 Boise State
5 Nebraska
6 Oklahoma
7 Utah
8 LSU
9 Michigan State
10 Alabama

After another near loss to an average team, I had to drop Auburn. LSU, Alabama, South Carolina, Auburn, and Arkansas (not so much) are pretty interchangeable.

Anyway some of my thoughts from Saturday......

TCU and Boise may be the 2 best teams in the country. Both of their offenses are better than Ohio State, and both of their defenses are better than Oregon. And Utah romped Iowa State, one week after Iowa State shocked Texas Tech.

Muh Gators got jobbed on that not-so-backwards lateral on the fake field goal. That was an incomplete pass. That said, we still control our own destiny in the SEC. Win out, and we're good.

I'm sick of Miami. Every time I think they're about to turn the corner, they lay a fucking egg.

I am shocked Bama gave up 35 points more than anything.

Hell yeah Michigan State!! Those last 2 games they were ridiculous. Makes you think how they almost lost at home to Notre Dame.

Fresno State's defense officially sucks. Shows how crappy Cincinnati is this year.

When is Rick Neuheisel gonna realize Kevin Prince sucks?? Time for Brehaut.

And if State ain't in the top 10 behind all those SEC teams with losses or crappy performances I'ma be pissed. Wisconsin and Michigan are good teams, and they handily beat them.

I see Sparty moving up to about 12 this week, too much SEC bias to move any further up. Illinios looks like a classic "trap" game however. Playing at home, feeling good about winning a rivalry game and Iowa two weeks out. I think they will pull off a close win, but I won't be surprised if they start the annual fall off. Sorry, I try to have faith, but after so many years of the same thing you come to expect it.

I agree!

Regarding FSU@Miami....

All I can say so far is.....:eek:

Will someone PLEASE tell the Miami Hurricanes that this game is actually underway and the results actually count?? This is embarrassing to say the least. The only positive is that we are only down by 17 points. After playing the way we have this first half (and hats off :hatsoff: to FSU....they are kicking our asses at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball), we're lucky it's not 35-0. With apologies to Skyraider and any other FSU fans, you guys should not be able to hold our jockstraps yet....well, here we are.

All we need is a miracle....

Hmm...I forgot about Okie.

Congratulations 'Raider but I wouldn't get too cocky yet if I were you. Miami is NOTORIOUS (especially under Randy Shannon for some reason ) for really looking like absolute shit in at least one game every year (last year it was the Va Tech game). Last night was a glaring example. Not to take anything away from your Seminoles (they kicked our asses plain and simple) but no one can say that Miami looked prepared to play that game last night. It's almost like after we beat Clemson the attitude was "OK, we're going back home so we can relax now". That's coaching's fault. I'm starting to become concerned that Randy Shannon is a much better recruiter than he is motivator.

Remember the Oklahoma game earlier this year (47-17)? Is FSU really that bad? No. They looked like a freight train last night rolling over Miami. Is Miami really that bad? Again....no. It's the fickle nature of college football. We'll get you bastards next time. :1orglaugh

In the meantime, bask in the glow....your deserve it. Once again, congratulations. :hatsoff:

On another note, my Missouri Tigers are very quietly having a great season so far. Yesterday, the defense was awesome (yeah, yeah I know it was against Colorado but hey it's a conference game so I'll take the win anytime). I keep waiting for them to stumble but so far they are playing very solid. They'll undoubtedly move up in the polls.

The Jagger69 Top 10:

1) Ohio State
2) Oregon
3) Nebraska (These guys are really good!)
4) Boise St.
5) TCU

WFT is wrong with these people? As 'Mega pointed out, Alabama ahead of South Carolina? Stupid. Why isn't Michigan state in the top 10? I also think Stanford should be higher on the list. Fooey, I say.
