Look at the issues (headlines) about recruiting (scholly offers) at LSU and Bama (over signing athletes)....

Who else is having this 'problem'?

College Football is almost upon us :nanner:

THere are some pretty good games this weekend plus the usual mauling of cupcakes too...

I got USC 63 Hawai'i 7

I got Boise State 31 VaTech 21

I got UNC 24 LSU 20

I got Oregon State 33 TCU 17 (TCU goes up in :flame:--season in tatters after Week 1!)

What does everyone think of BYU going the indie route? I think it's a HUGE mistake.:surprise: They will fall off the radar quickly in the next 3 years and probably go crawling back to the Mountain West with their tails between their legs? I guess they are in shock that the Pac10 didn't invite them to join and this is their retaliation (to take their ball and go home? :dunno::wave2:)

ESPN, NBC, Fox Sports..probably won't bother showing their highlights on their sports shows, huh?

Anyone have thoughts on how Kelly is going to do with Notre Dame's Fuckedup Irish?

I think they might win 9. What a soft schedule this year!

Sept. 4 PURDUE (ND WIN)
Sept. 11 MICHIGAN (ND WIN)
Sept. 18 at Michigan State (ND WIN)
Sept. 25 STANFORD (ND WIN)
Oct. 2 at Boston College huge fucking loss
Oct. 9 PITTSBURGH huge fucking loss
Oct. 16 WESTERN MICHIGAN (ND WIN)
Oct. 23 at Navy (at Meadowlands - East Rutherford, N.J.) (ND WIN)
Oct. 30 TULSA (ND WIN)
Nov. 6 Open Date
Nov. 13 UTAH (ND WIN)
Nov. 20 ARMY (at Yankee Stadium - Bronx, N.Y.) (ND WIN)
Nov. 27 at USC huge fucking loss

I see 7 wins. I think Purdue and Michigan State are actually coin flippers and I don't see the irish beating Stanflurf or Michigan. It could be an 0-4 start

I see the automatic wins: BC (they stink this year), Army, Tulsa, Navy (the party's over for the middies)...

I think nd will beat USC this season too (I think the trojans will have given up on the seasson by then :weeping:)

I don't think either Purdue or Michigan will beat them. I may well be wrong, we'll see. An 0-4 start would be pretty brutal.

BC is always a nail biter. Even when the Irish were "good," BC always challenged. And Navy is never a gimmie. Some how they always get to the Irish.

USC, though they will suck ass this year, and will have given up by then, will soundly trounce the Irish once again.

You heard it here, folks.

I think UNC will get trounced by LSU. And I think Boise State will beat Va Tech and everyone will say just how great Boise is.......until we realize Va Tech is overrated and Boise falls to Oregon State, who everyone seems to forget is on their schedule.

Does anyone have a national championship prediction?

Of course I'm going to pick Oklahoma. If they can stay healthy(especially DeMarco Murray) and the offensive line makes a big improvement from last year. I think easily Oklahoma makes it to the title game.

Alabama is my other pick. They're just too loaded on offense and defense. The SEC is really tough, but I think Alabama makes it through with 1 loss.

Heisman winner: Ryan Broyles(yes, i know)

Iam pulling for the Gators but we will have to wait and see if they dont win the championship I hope someone from the SEC does

big 10 conference alignment supposedly to be revealed today per ESPN here:

as far as a National Champ, hmmmm. If Bama can make it through their conference schedule without a blemish then I don't see anyone stopping them.

My guess is that it comes down to the Buckeyes vs The Tide in the NC game.

However, I'm gonna be pulling for my Cardinal, I know its in vain but so is that fantasy I have of Veronika Zemanova showing up at my house horny and naked and I'm not about to stop wishing for that.

I got USC 63 Hawai'i 7

I got Boise State 31 VaTech 21

I got UNC 24 LSU 20

I got Oregon State 33 TCU 17 (TCU goes up in :flame:--season in tatters after Week 1!)

OK TR let's tee it up for week one bragging rights.

I got USC 35 Hawaii 17

I got Boise State 24 VaTech 21

I got LSU 24 UNC 17

I got TCU 27 Oregon State 14

Love TCU over Oregon State with the Beavers quarterback making his first career start deep in the heart of hostile Texas :hammer:

About the Big 10/12 divisions and cross division games. Keeping OSU/Michigan as the last game of the season. Good non-move. Penn St./Nebraska as an annual cross divsion game could be a huge game every year. Michigan St./Indiana every year. Really? Well at least it is a game that Sparty has a chance to win every year. I guess it's better than getting pounded by Penn St. every year.

I think these divisions without any regional ties are stupid. I mean both the ACC and Big Ten could easily be divided geographically. Putting teams in random divisions sounds pretty dumb to me.

ACC:
North - Va Tech, UVA, UMD, BC, Duke, UNC
South - Miami, FSU, GT, Clemson, NCSU, WFU
Big Ten:
West - Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota, NU, Illinois, Wisconsin
East - Ohio St, PSU, UM, MSU, Purdue, IU

Someone please remind me, just how many times FSU and Miami have played for the ACC Championship? Exactly.

Didn't they do this one time before back in the 80's:dunno:

What really you think so.ND does strugglr against the option.

None I'm just saying:rolleyes:

Having said that my SEC champs Alabama,Houston takes the C-USA I will see them at the Liberty Bowl take that to the bank.Nebraska the Big 12 champs yeah I said it.It will run dry for the Big 12 South. The Ducks will take the PAC-10 only because I can't take USC.It would be a hoot to see the Mighty Men of Troy pull an Auburn of 1994 for you guys old enough you what what I'm talking about.Pitt take the Big East it is there's to lose.ACC is up for grabs man I would love to see FSU take it.But if I had to pick a team VA.Tech.Big Ten I'm sure everyone picked Ohio State so I picked Wisconsin.and we all know TCU and Boise State has there conferences wrapped up.Now you guys will love this my National Champion game TCU vs.Alabama or Ohio State only because Wisconsin will find a way to fuck it up for me and lose one or two games.ITS ON BITCH:glugglug:

I'm going with Ohio State versus Boise State for the BCS Title...if Boise doesn't make it :)o) than give me Ohio State v Oklahoma..

In either case, I got the Baills bringing home the NC this year :yesyes:

I'm sticking with cal winning the Pac10 and ending their Rose Bowl curse...

Ohio is not looking so very hot here...only going to be up by one score at the half. Against Marshal. Coach Tressel, could this be your last year?

:D
