As a junior it looked like the sky was the limit on him, but then he got hurt, sat out a year, played well in his first few starts back, but has been regressing ever since.

I could also point out if we're going by how it should sound if it taken from the French name Notre Dame isn't pronounced right either. We have bastardized it badly from how we think it should sound by how the English language constructs words.
