Not the finest start to a season. But it's better than getting destroyed 35-0 in front of the Chancellor's Wine & Cheese crowd

The REAL Top 10

1. Bama
2. Baill's Bunch
3. The Boise Bomb Squad
4. Okie
5. Oregon
6. Texas
7. TCU
8. Nebraska
9. South Carolina
10. Florida

The ACC got embarassed yesterday. I still think Miami wins it, but UNC could be dangerous. IMO those two have the best athletes, even better than FSU. For the 2nd straight season, the 4 best teams in the conference are in the same division. Maryland looks like they could be on the upswing though.

I think y'all have a point about South Carolina. I'm so glad we got them in Gainesville this year. They're a tough out every year. I'm not ready to rank em in the top 10 yet though, as I don't feel Georgia is all that good a team. Alabama seems unbeatable. But so did LSU in 2003 and we won in Baton Rouge, their only loss in their Championship season (and that was a 5 loss season for us).

Other than Boise State and TCU, I'm keeping an eye on Utah, Fresno State, and Air Force. I think Cincy's gonna win the Big East again, and Fresno dominated them last weekend.

I will say C/S and SR22 if Denard Robinson keeps it up and we keep winning...he's going to have a statue that resembles this move...
Better pic...

well South Carolina has a potential real running back in Marcus Lattimore so Florida will have it's hands full. I just hope this game lives up to it's potential none of this Saturdays marque match ups did

UM 57 wins in the series OSU- 43 wins.

UM's longest win streak 9 games
OSU's longest win streak 6 games.
Largest margin of victory in the series: Michigan- 86 OSU- 0
:hatsoff:

Oh Michiganders just like Domers live off the glory that happened before Teddy Roosevelt charged up San Juan hill. But if you want to look at modern football………say since the end of WWI, the rivalry is even.

Where is James Madison? They are undefeated and beat the crap out of Va Tech in Blacksburg. That’s much more impressive than whet Boise did.

I suppose it's only fair to pickup the series count where ever it's convenient for the Buckeyes. It's not like we dominated you guys as recently as last decade or anything.

HEY YOU GUYS LOOK!!>>Pete DiPrimio of The Fort Wayne News-Sentinel in Indiana was the lone voter to keep Boise State No. 1 this week.

“I still think Virginia Tech is a good team and will make a bowl,” DiPrimio said in an e-mail Sunday. “Alabama and Ohio State haven’t been tested on the road like that.”
LET ME add to this sunshine...james madison couldnt beat ohio st or bama in IRAN ..i dont care what happens from here...if boise winds up playing bama or osu in a bowl..they better bring extra brown paper bags....as the year goes on..everyone will see..miami is not so bad..it was osu making them look bad...and to top it off..someone needs to wake this guy up..and tell him bamas star players has been on the sideline......thats it..you go in the idiot bag..with les miles:1orglaugh:wave:

i know okl fans dont wanna hear this shit...but i would love to see okl and boise in>>the rematch<< this year...that would put one alabama mans mind at ease

They are ineligible for the BCS, right? I think you have to be a FBS school to be eligible for the polls. It's pretty clear since James Madison hadn't scored against Virginia Tech since 1992 (I think that's what I heard) that Virginia Tech probably wasn't in the mood to play a no-name cupcake after losing the most important game of the Labor Day weekend. I think Virginia Tech can still head to the Orange Bowl if they pull their heads out of their asses and play. The ACC appears to be -->:anonymous again this year...

Baill, when I was in my glory run with SC...there was never a doubt in my mind that my Trojans wouldn't roll up any Big 10 team in the Rose Bowl, or an SEC team when we played them during the season. Granted, I may not have predicted 70-17 blowouts, or 55-13 against Okie in the Orange...but the point is that I had such firm belief that my Trojans were so much better than your Buckeyes, Michigan, Penn State, LSU (if only we could've played them and hammered them), Oklahoma, Texas, etc that I didn't need to waste any thought on other teams like Boise State, James Madison, Virginia Tech. I remember SC opened on the road in Washington DC against Virginia Tech and only beat them 24-7 (2005?). It was a tough game :dunno:

I do think Boise would go toe-to-toe with Ohio State because it appears that Terrell Pryor can't complete passes in meaningful games. He was interceptions waiting to happen against the Canes. The kind of suspect passing he has might bite the Buckeyes in the ass someday soon :dunno:

I think people would like to see Utah versus Bama in the Sugar, too... Would you guys get hammered again? Maybe...

I'm not worried about Boise St beating Ohio State. As a college football fan, I think it would be a crime if Boise beat out a BCS conference team if the Bucks or the Tide should stumble along the way.

hold on you guys...NOT SO FAST!!!<<<<(where did i hear this) all i can say..is come on oregon st...the eyes of america is on you!!

The "system" is set up to keep the Boises, Fresnos, Utahs, TCUs out. That reality seems to go against the spirit of college. I have no problem if one of these schools rises up and challenges the privileged schools. It's not like Boise and TCU are out there stuffing $100000 bills in recruits' pockets or enticing recruits with hookers and blow :dunno:

Someday soon, College presidents need to get together and abolish all conference alignments. That way, everyone can play anyone, and teams will be judged on their schedules and who they play/beat to "impress" the NCAA Selection Committee.

Boise, Fresno, TCU schools also get screwed because when an Ohio State schedules a home/home with them, the Big School always gets the first game at home and always scribbles an "escape" check instead of honoring the agreement with a return trip.
