I think Chekwa broke his wrist. The replay was gruesome to watch. That could be a big-time hurt for Ohio State.

Eeesh. I'm still cringing from that. Ow! Poor guy.

Hurt OSU more than Chekwa?:o

Very possibly. Oh, except Arkansas is not playing well.

Also, if I had to be on a headset and listen to Tressell chew his gum like that, I'd find him and break his fucking jaw so he couldn't chew anymore.
(but that's just me)

The refs overlooked a block in the back on Ohio State's third TD drive.

I am surprised by Ohio State's defense. They are a lot faster that any I've ever seen them put on a field. :surprise:

Should be easy to do. Just substitute one of those gumballs he hacks on for a real jawbreaker.

The Buckeye D Line is manhandling the Hogs.

Those dropped passes by Arkansas are killing their chances.

Arkansas' defensive line isn't doing bad, but Pryor is just too mobile for them. The razorback secondary is just getting picked apart.

Yes. What the fuck is up with all the dropped passes?

"Oh, I'm sorry, receivers, did my pass hit you in the hands?"

Another dropped pass! :surprise: :surprise: :surprise:

At least they made up for it on the next play, but I don't think that field goal will be enough unless they make some great adjustments.

How many Razorbacks does it take to change a flat tire?
Only one. But if it's a blowout they'll all show up.

so anyone else sick of that Dr Pepper commerical with Fergie?? I think she's cute and all but damn she annoys the shit outta me. Definitely one of those gag 'em while you fuck them types. ummm...not that I've ever done that :surprise:

Blocked kick and it looked like Arkansas would pull it out, but yet another dropped pass  followed by an interception. The second half was a real barn-burner.

My picks take a knee in the crotch. But halas to OSU for providing at least a glimmer of hope against the SEC.

Beamer has been quite impressive IMO. His record speaks for itself and could have been better if he had Vick longer.

His teams are generally well coached and always seem to play well above average on special teams and defense. This year was thought to be at the outset a down year for their defense and that pretty much proved true.

Anyone who think Frank Beamer is overrated ought to be shot. I got mad respect for a coach who can build a program and maintain it in a less than desirable location. Getting kids to attend college in State College, PA and Blacksburg, VA is alot harder than Miami, FL or Los Angeles, CA.

I would be leery of Brady Hoke out of SDSU only because he did it for what, 1 year? In the MWC? Stepping up to Ann Arbor..that is a HUGE step up.

Ball State was shit when he got there. He turned them into winners. San Diego State was shit when he got there. He turned them into winners. He is a very, very good coach.

Damn. Ohio State is going to win this. I picked them, but I fucking hate them.

In the same boat as I, my friend.

The Big Ten's flagship program barely beat really a second-tier SEC school. Just sayin'.

But that was typical Ohio State. Watching that game, outside of Heyward, Arkansas had the advantage in talent-level, and probably shoulda won it, but Ohio State pulled out on top cuz they are great at closing games and avoiding mistakes.

The big thing 'they' are babbling about now re: Beamer is this meaningless stat reflecting his ...(get this) record against the top ten away from Blacksburgh :1orglaugh

Among other things the dolts ignore the fact that VT was in the sorry Big East for many years where the only other ranked team in the conference would have been Miami...when they were good.

But let's just ignore how many 10 win seasons he's strung together recently and their near dominance over the ACC.

Yet they lost only to 'Bama and Auburn...and they shoulda beaten 'Bama. Despite the many drops of passes mainly by ONE Hog player, the Bucks lost Chekwa for most of the game and Pryor isn't anywhere near the caliber of Mallett.

Despite what anyone may say about the game, I think Ohio State proved that they can hang with any SEC team. I was very impressed with Pryor performance last night, I think he also proved a lot of doubters wrong.

It's just a shame that the suspensions next year could cost them a national title next year.

Surely you jest sir. I'll admit they can hang with some SEC schools, but to say any is a joke in itself. If they had played Bama or MSU, the story would have been much different. Besides, lets not write off all of those shellackings they have taken this past decade at the hands of the SEC.

But that just shows that even the programs with lesser prestige have talent and are real good in the SEC.

Even if Ohio State had lost by 20, I wouldn't immediately say that they couldn't hang with the SEC. They are the one program in the Big Ten that can attract superior talent. Programs like Wisconsin, Iowa, Penn State have good, not great talent, but succeed due to great coaching.
