Fuck that. Another game we didn't deserve to win. E'Twaun Moore is killing this team right now. He's been absent for the last three games. 6-18 shooting today from the field. For fuck's sake man, if you're not on, quit shooting the goddamn ball. And Ryne Smith goes from hitting five three pointers a game to not hitting any. JaJuan Johnson cannot carry this team on his own. Someone else is going to have to step up or we're going to get destroyed in conference play.

It's so frustrating to watch the Boilers play right now.

How damn frustrated do you think I am right now?

Yes, Sparty's struggles are much more inexplicable than Purdue's. The good news for you is that Izzo will have it turned around by tournament time. He always does.

I wouldn't call them troubles. Two losses on the road against good teams. West Virginia may not have been ranked, but they will be tomorrow. That's a real good team, as is Minnesota. Purdue's only bad loss was the one against Richmond. MSU is clearly struggling more. Getting trounced at home to Texas, a bad first 35 minutes against Wisconsin also at home, a loss to Penn State, and 2 lucky fuck wins against Northwestern.

Yippee-ki-yay, motherfucker!
Great finish between Villanova and UConn - it was interesting to see how much of a defensive struggle this game was during the 1st half, considering these teams rank within the top 50 in the nation in scoring.

Solid Big East victory by the Pitt Panthers over the once undefeated Syracuse.

Interesting stat: Pitt is now 145-11 all-time at the Petersen Events Center, 9-0 against top five opponents. There's no reason to doubt that Pitt's chances of making it to the Final Four this year are pretty good.

I love my Buckeyes team. 4 Seniors and 3 Freshmen share the minutes. Very balanced (5 different players have been the high scorer), a Buckeye has been the Big 10 freshmen of the week every week this year (3 different players)

Sullinger is a lottery pick who, because of his dad being his High School coach, is as developed as any frosh I have seen since Jimmy Jackson. His offensive and defensive footwork is great, he gets team defensive concepts, when he blocks shots it goes towards a teammate, he is unselfish and very willing to give the ball back out when the shot is not there, great rebounder, good free throw shooter.
Look out in March!

College Game Day on ESPN is live today from the Purdue University. This is the the first time they've been here since The General Robert Montgomery Knight was added to the broadcast. Even though he was always hated while coaching Indiana, he was certainly respected. His legendary rivalry with "Captain Combover" Gene Keady was well documented. I expect Coach Knight to receive a very large ovation today.

Also for the occasion, they've made a Welcome Back Coach Knight shirt that features all the Game Day crew with a larger than life Coach Knight holding a chair in one hand and choking a player in the other. On the back it reads "Hide the women, children, and chairs." Clever, but it's all in good fun. Regardless of how the rest of the nation feels about him, he's still pretty revered in Indiana.

I'm really looking forward to tonight's game against Sparty. Boiler Up!

Look out. Turnovers and a pesky Illini team is nippin' at ya. You guys better guard Richmond better.

The Eagles have practically owned the Irish over the years; in fact, Marquette has won six of their last nine games against Notre Dame since joining the Big East in 2005.

Hence the grinning smilie.

It's anyone's game to begin with really, but Syracuse is getting schooled.

Crazy smash-mouth victory Texas gained over the once-undefeated Jayhawks. Props to the Longhorns' defense on clamping down Kansas in the second half after struggling to keep up with the Jayhawks early in the game.

Well, the Jayhawks are once-defeated now...

Had em all the way!

Impressive road win by tOSU.

That game showed that there is no good way to guard Ohio State's Jared Sullinger; in fact, there are only bad ways and not-quite-as-bad ways.

Good things happen when Sullinger touches the ball for tOSU. The Buckeyes have now won 20 straight heading into Tuesday's showdown with Purdue. They'll lose eventually, I guess, but if Sullinger keeps making the right decisions, it's hard to envision when, where or how.

I think the most likely way for Ohio State to lose would be if Sullinger got into foul trouble and they were forced to rely on Diebler shooting 3s.
