Yes, I play tennis...wheelchair tennis.

The best Grand Slam?
Australian Ope is great because of all the Aussies are great sports fans, so there will be a lot of enthousiastic spectators.

"Roland Garros" is great because it is the most interesting tournament played on clay.

"Wimbledon" is the most prestizious one, the history of lawn tennis etc etc.

"Flushing Meadow" is too much dominated by TV Channels. Finals at prime time etc. And a lot of playrs complains about the noise of the spectators and planes flying over the tenniscourts.

For me, living in Europe: the French Open and Wimbledon are the most easy to watch.

Andy Roddick is not overated, he is a former no.1 of the world.
I hope that there will be a next generation US tennisplayers like Pete Sampras and André Agassi.

Roddick is garbage. Blake is the best male american tennis player.

I hope to see Federer back on top this year, although Djokovic is pretty sic. Nadal is too up and down.

Roddick has been a dissapointment for me, no question. He should have more than just the one major (US Open) title. He's a good player, but he needs to win a couple more majors. I think he got rid of Connors? I think it was a good move because that relationship didn't yield the results it should have.


Anyway. Best major? Being a Yankee I always dreamed about winning the US Open, so that would be it. I don't particularly like grass either, seeing as though that surface is so unorthodox in the states. Also clay is not orthidox in the US either, so I'd sau US Open followed by the Aussie Open.

I hope Murray wins the Aussie open, OR Roddick. I will pick Murray but I'm pulling for Roddick to win it.

Roddick has to get past the defending champ yet....next. I'm worried, because I've been a Roddick fan (naturally, as an America) forever and he has been the biggest dissapointement. Watching the tennis right now and will probably be up all night doing my assignment with the ESPN2 coverage on.

Tsonga - Blake tonight (this morning, lol). :hatsoff:

I'm watching it. Looks like Tsonga is going to win (he won the first set, 6-4.) Blake is a good tennisplayer, but not the top of he world. He has had a lot of injuries too, but now he's back.

Tsonga is interesting to watch. Good player.

Yeah! Federer needs that type of matches to have a chance to defeat Nadal in the final.
It looks good for him so far, but Nadal has proved the last 2 years that he's not only the no. 1 on clay.

Well, another match against Federer for Andy Roddick...another embarrassing beatdown loss. I believe it was yesterday that ESPN tried to "sell" the match as a "rivalry renewed" type of publicity spin...since when is this considered a rivalry? Feds owned a 15-2 record against our "hero" Andy..better make it 16-2. Roddick couldn't even get a set off of him. Feds again had more Aces than Hero Andy....

It would be nice if Andy just went away. All he is reduced to is petty, cheap, poor sportsmanship antics in his big matches. I guess he went "ugly American" in this latest match against Feds. His only chance at wins is when he enters tourneys that The Big 4 aren't entered in. That means we'll be seeing him at the "ATP--Chattanooga" this summer...haha!

haaha, ya, Andy is a clown. He is the Sacremento Kings of tennis. Would probably win a title if Federer (Lakers), Nadal (Spurs), werent around.

That was sad for Andy. He just can't beat Federer. He never has, never will. Federer is like Woods and Roddick is like Mickelson. 2-16, soooooooo pathetic.

Roddick is so talented, but for whatever reason he just can't beat Federer. He didn't play bad at all, just that he can't do SHIT against Federer.
