15: the thing isn't ugly, it's purposeful. pure form follows function. that, by definition, cannot be ugly.

14: same thing, so it has its charms... but it could have been better.

13: the G is one of the very best cars ever made, period. i hate SUVs (pretentious idiot mobiles tha are barely capable of going through teh woods, nevermind actual offroading), but i'd love having a G, short wheelbase turbodiesel please. form follows function, once again, and they are tougher than anything else. absolutely beautiful.

12: oh yes, what a piece of crap. it's a chevy, what do you expect?

11: ugly as sin.

10: ass-tech, and as much as i hate GM, i must say this is not really designed to beautiful, but useful. they could have put more effort into it, but it's not as bad as, say, every other pontiac.

9: weird, but not uglier than a chevette.

8: don't see what's wrong with it.

7: agree

6: 3-wheel design necessary due to british tax laws, but back half isn't any prettier than the front half.

5: oh lord yes.

4: no... weird but good-weird. seats 3 abreast. yes, i said abreast.

3: the automotive equivalent of sarah jessica parker. i don't mean that as a compliment. for either one of them.

2: ugly, yes; but communism produced much greater aesthetic crimes than this thing.

1: some like it, some don't, but it doesn't deserve to be number 1 on this list.

I know this list is subjective, but to this day, I'd still love to have a Cosworth Vega. I can't argue with the Aztek, the Citroën, the Fiat, the Gremlin or some of the others... but the PT Cruiser wasn't THAT bad! Come on now. That thing was hella stylin' when it first came out! And the Lagonda and the Geländewagen were straight up Cocaine Cowboys, Roarin' '80's! How soon people forget.

The Audi TT MUST be towards the top of the list. It's like a woodlouse in metal and almost beyond description for its awfulness.
The VW Beetle is grim too.You want to stamp on it.I'm including both the original (stolen from Tatra) and the present one.

Amen!I've always thought that car looked like shit.

The first car that I thought of when I saw this thread was the Pontiac Aztec.I really don't understand why anyone would buy that ugly ass piece of shit.

One other car that I've never liked was the Mercur XR4TI.Stupid looking car with an ever stupider name.

Every time I see one of these list the Pontiac Aztek is always on there. I've never had an Aztek but I've always thought they were kinda cool. Am I the only one that likes these cars? Is my taste really that bad?

In this case, yes. I don't mean to be judgmental, but that car is hideous. I think it should have been ranked even higher.

I would take many of the vehicles on the list over a Prius or any of these
eco-freindly death traps. Pri-:booty:

I have to concur. The Prius is ungodly. I wouldn't be caught dead in one of those things. And what about the first hybrids Honda made? I think that would easily fit on that list. Seriously, would any self respecting American even be seen in one of these things?:
